As far as I know the DDE features now work reasonably well and I wasn't planning on making any more changes there.

I've assumed a problem I have with forcing Excel 2013 (both programme and folder force) on Win 8 is related to the DDE issue as 'send to' works fine. It may not be of course but I wanted to see if the work being done on this might also fix my problem before reporting.

Is this issue part of the plans for the current (.05) beta cycle?

Not really a bug, more like an oversight. The process in the sandbox is still running at untrusted integrity level even when OpenWinClass=* so the UAC/UIPI mechanism prevents it from accessing window objects that have a higher integrity level. And most window objects outside the sandbox should have at least medium integrity level.

This means that on systems where UAC is enabled, OpenWinClass=* doesn't really mean the process in the sandbox has more access to window objects. However it can "see" and "read" window objects outside the sandbox directly without going through SbieSvc. Whereas without OpenWinClass=*, it cannot see or read window objects outside the sandbox directly, and has to go through the SbieSvc helper process.

If UAC is disabled, and on Windows XP, integrity levels don't come into play for window objects, and OpenWinClass=* does give the process in the sandbox full access to window objects outside the sandbox.

Hi,problem was solved , content and buttons are visible with version 4.04

But I have the new issue - can't fill the form now...

I'll back to version 3.76 again...

Finally able to reproduce this. The key thing was as nph mentioned above -- must have an instance of Opera already running in the sandbox to see the problem. Should have noticed this point earlier, I apologize. This will be fixed in the next beta version.

I would like to point out that I get the same error in Opera 12.16 as well in Windows 8 x64 and the latest maxthon Stable.

I was not able to experience the problem first hand and I don't know what I changed in Sandboxie that made a difference in Opera.
