As far as I know the DDE features now work reasonably well and I wasn't planning on making any more changes there.

I've assumed a problem I have with forcing Excel 2013 (both programme and folder force) on Win 8 is related to the DDE issue as 'send to' works fine. It may not be of course but I wanted to see if the work being done on this might also fix my problem before reporting.

Is this issue part of the plans for the current (.05) beta cycle?

Chrome doesn't support DDE right?

Yes, on reviewing the code, it seems the code that handles DDE DATA does not respect the /IgnoreUIPI switch at all.
I can probably fix that in a future version. Consider turning off Drop Rights for now.

No, that does not work, with 4.04 64bit.

It does fetch the bookmark on the first try but the error message still come up "SBIE2205 Service not implemented: DDE DATA" On the second try it does not work. This is with Drop-Rights enabled. Getting closer!

How about if you add in Sandbox Settings > Resource Access > Window Access:

BMKBUDDY/IgnoreUIPI

Does this help?

Thanks, Bookmark Buddy works now, but drop rights has to be unchecked. Is this the way it will be, about "drop-rights"? I am grateful you worked out this problem!

Thanks for DDE fixes in .03. Now I can click on link in un-sandboxed program (eg. Thunderbird) and it will open in sandboxed Firefox.

Also, if I open sandboxed Firefox then un-sandboxed Firefox, a click on a link will still open in sand-boxed instance (ie. which version gets opened first opens the page).

This has given 4.03.03 same functionality as 3.xx builds.
