Sandboxie Support

Happens Exiting from Chrome

This doesn't just affect Remote Desktop or some sort of Chinese input. I get three of those messages every time I exit from Chrome.

Unable to run anything with Sandboxie 4.06/Windows 8.1

Hi,

I am using Windows 8.1 (just upgraded from 8.1 Preview) on 64-bit, and Sandboxie 4.06.

If I try 'Run Web Browser', nothing happens (well, I get a 'busy' cursor for a couple of seconds).

If I manually enter a path and .exe name into the command line text box for 'Run any program', the same.

If I click 'Browse' and then click on the C: drive icon to expand it (when File Explorer appears) to get to the 'Program Files' folder, Sandboxie seems to hang completely.

I used Sandboxie extensively on Windows 7, so I don't know what I am doing wrong now...

Haven't tried the 4.05 beta, but can Baidu Spark be added in Apps>Web Browser>Google Chrome?!

Tzuk: I was testing SB against malware, like You said, program simple crashed generating that NtCreateProcessEx error.
Under Win7 I do have a proper crash log without these errors.

I try to start Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer, but as I wrote already, the error "SBIE2205 Service not implemented: NtCreateProcessEx" only occurs in Remote Desktop Sessions.

However, Avira Professional Security is installed. I still need to test if the virus scanner could possibly cause the error.

Yeah, printing is completely broken in any sandboxed program in W8.1

Printing with any program fails as no printer is shown at the general selection dialog.

sorry I didn't explain clearly, Microsoft Pinyin is chinese input method which windows built-in.

In Windows 8.1 the component that catches crashes and does Windows Error Reporting is working in a way that Sandboxie doesn't support.

The message "SBIE2205 Service not implemented: NtCreateProcessEx" refers to that unsupported functionality.

It is not a priority to add this functionality because the underlying problem is that the program has crashed for some reason.

Same problem as previous post.

But only if I use Sandboxie in a remote desktop session. No error with local logon.

Is lost money for sure I don't will downgrade .
False to buy before be sure that is will work
