Re: Disabling Chrome's built-in sandbox - Good idea?

You coming to tell me your opinions of things, like they were facts. without any proof. And that you somehow know better than me. But your paranoia makes you sick, that got me fed up to listening about you getting hacked here and Wilders. Wrong conclusions again, I have never saied or suspected tha...

Re: Disabling Chrome's built-in sandbox - Good idea?

Well children, from where does this notion of browser sandboxing being bad comes from? I have always tried to treat softwares so that one does not have to depend on just one solution. Because one day they will be gone, SBIE too. Seems here are a lots of "gurus" in this thread, but when talking about...

Re: EMET 5.1

Curt, read what rm22 posted above. In short, you need to check the column: Running EMET , if there is a green checkmark for the sandboxed browser. I doubt there is, without one or the other of those 2 options that have been advised to do. This is the thread rm22 mentioned: http://forums.sandboxie.co...

Re: EMET 5.1

bjm, you have been given answers to make your browsing under Sandboxie also EMET mitigated. Reading your whinings and your inability to make any coherent posts is making me REALLY angry. "C:\Program Files\Sandboxie\Start.exe" default_browser is I guess what you mean with sandboxed browser? That is m...

Re: EMET 5.1

Run browsers forced or use the shortcut rm22 posted on his first reply if you have a free SBIE. If i right click say Firefox icon and Run Sandboxed, it won't be EMETted. A bit hard to understand what you mean but hope this helps. Edit: If forced programs feature is new to you: Select one sandbox you...

Re: EMET 5.1

It is true that Task Manager does not show the 2 EMET processes. Unless you tell to show all users processes. Process Hacker does. The processes are EMET_Agent.exe and EMET_Service.exe and they do have each their own PIDs. I would not EMET Sandboxie processes or AV processes. I did EMET TinyWall and...

Re: Untrusted certificate messages...

I can't help anything, but I am also telling what happened to me yesterday. I have my browsers forced to run sandboxed and after surfing with Chrome, exiting it and the sandbox content getting automatically deleted. Then I start Firefox to its homepage google.fi and I am aghast getting a message lik...

Re: Configuration Protection + Restrictions

the lock configuration works fine for me... if i change a sandbox setting then when i hit 'apply' then a popup appears asking for my password. once the password is entered the configuration is unlocked until sandboxie is restarted which isn't likely until a reboot - alternatively you can also selec...

Re: Configuration Protection + Restrictions

How does Sandboxie password protection work? I have set it protected and then I have to give a password when I want make some changes. But will it go back locked automatically after that or I need lock it again? That is what I think I need to do, but I am not sure. If it is like that, I would hope t...

Re: Homepage and search engine outside sandbox changed

Chrome sync is a thing to be not allowed! With it your bookmarks, extensions how bad they might be etc will get installed from some other computers you have used. You also don't need to be logged into any google account for the surfings. Or even to install Chrome. I used the Chrome sync once and the...

Re: EMET 5.1

I think EMET runs fine with Sandboxie. At some point Sandboxie software compatibility popup came up, to add it. I really don't know what it does, perhaps something hidden in the SBIE program. in the Sandboxie.ini I have only this line: [GlobalSettings] Template=Microsoft_EMET So you really don't nee...

Re: EMET 5.1

Yes rm 22 is right. I have browsers, readers forced to run in heir own sandbox. I almost wanted to post about that starting browsers from some normal desktop sandboxie shortcuts might not get them emet protected, as a later thought. His post was shown many hours later than mine and I think the cause...

Re: EMET 5.1

I have no problems running EMET 5.1 together with Sandboxie. I did some EAF+ mitgation reductions to make my browsers more responsive: http://www.wilderssecurity.com/threads/emet-enhanced-mitigation-experience-toolkit.344631/page-34#post-2426981 Note: I have not applied any emet mitigations to Sandb...

Same here, the latest Chrome and Sandboxie are working well together. Also with my other software and EMET 5 added to it.

Re: Firefox script errors with SB 4.13 b5 and up

The new beta 4.13.7 seems work fine with the flash content in Firefox 32.0.3. When I checked my current version number with 'About Mozilla Firefox' it shows me 'Update to 33.0' button. Is that new Firefox version also working with this latest beta?
