Guys, I fully support your attitude to not have anything updated while running it in a sandbox but I believe Chrome is actually running an updater outside the browser in the sandbox. I also run Firefox and know that every so often I need to run it unsandboxed to to update but Chrome updates without ...

just an update - I am now using SB 4.06 on Win 7/64bit - problem still ongoing (for me) - however noted the following: opening a pdf file with double-clicking a file in Windows Explorer works fine - using my preference of XYplorer instead doubleclicking or open will lead to SBIE2337 Failed to start ...

sbie1307 and dll.host.exe
I am running Version 4.06 (paid) on Win 7/64 bit and use the forced programs feature to run my browsers always sandboxed. I also have specific sandboxes and have restrictions that only ie, ff and chrome can run. Recently I noticed SBIE1307 popping up with reference to dll.host.exe not being allowed....

I just rebuilt my pc with win 7 64 and installed the latest NOD AV 7 and SB 4.06 and did not notice any issues like you described. What I did notice is that if pdf files are sandboxed and on a mapped or remote drive, I get a sbie error but Tzuk is aware of this. Otherwise so far both NOD 7 and SB 4....

updating FF and Chrome
Not sure if this is a quick question or problem but I suspect the former and a lack of knowledge on my part  I have been running sandboxie for many years and have always been happy with it. For the most part, I run it out of the box and only have done minor changes to my config. Still running ...

sBIE2337 with Nitro
Using Win7/32 and SB 4.02 - running my pdf readers forced in the sandbox and as of today, my default reader Nitro 3.5.3.14 causes an error message SBIE2337: Failed to start program (44/267) when trying to open a file from explorer. Opening the program from the start bar has no issues. Opening a pdf ...

easiest way to run a browser sandboxed?
I recently moved from Xp to Win 7 and noticed that opening a browser in my preferred sandbox is not that quick. I have all browsers set up to automatically run sandboxed (default) but also have specific finance sandboxes I only use for banking. In Xp I just rightclicked the icon in the bottom toolba...

Sandboxie & Chrome - not remembering data
I recently switched from FF to Chrome and still have some issues understanding some of the features of Chrome. Using the registered version of SB 3.72 on XP, I normally use 2 sandboxes. 1 default box is for normal surfing etc and one specific sandbox for banking or sensitive stuff. Both are set to d...

Sorry, for resurrecting this old thread but I have again run into problems with this lacking feature. I have somehow managed to disable SB on my main rig, so that it does not come back at me like a Zombie when I don't want it. However on two other pc I use, SB is normally running. Doing updates the ...
