Re: Drop Rights

I've reinstalled the latest version of Sandbozie, 5.22 on my win7 64 bit system. Both my Chrome and Opera browsers crash when drop rights is enabled. Strangely, Firefox does not crash but I hate Firefox. So my question is, is my security compromised if drop rights is disabled? Or, is there another c...

Drop Rights

My Chrome browser crashes when I have drop rights enabled. But as soon as I disable it, 'drop rights', every thing is OK. I use another browser that does the same thing. Strange that both browsers run on the Chromium engine. I decided to test Firefox, a non Chromium based browser, and it ran OK, I'm...

Algo, I don't know how you found the culprit. Must've been like finding a needle in a haystack. This bug has been annoying for the longest. I thought I might have to give up my favorite browser. Now that I know what the problem is, thanks to you, I just uncheck and recheck the box whenever I go to m...

Drop down menu tab

Hey guys, I have a minor problem. It's minor but it's annoying. The drop down menu tab does not work on my browser when it is sandboxed. I use Opera as my default browser and outside the sandbox, it works fine. I can click on the tab and input the info that it asks. However, as soon as the browser i...

I think I'm getting it now. Man, I was freaking out for a while trying to understand this and it's so simple. It's like using a computer language to write a program where each sub function of the program have their own rules. Thanks man.

No, my settings or configurations are not locked coz I reinstalled the program and started again. If I may, are you saying or implying that every time I remove a sandbox, and create a new sandbox, I have to create new settings for the new sandbox? Because, that is my problem. When I create a new san...

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I assume that whenever I make my settings, the Sbi.ini file is automatically updated since I do have administrative privileges. If I understand you correctly, are you saying that I have to to manually edit this file? I'm not sure of your question.

Hi All, I'm sort of a Sandbox noobie so please excuse a redundant question. I'm running XP 32 and my problem is that I cannot keep my settings. For example, If I set Sandboxie to recognize my browser's Opera browser's bookmarks, or set Sandboxie to automatically delete contents on exit or reboot, th...
