I don't want the download to be outside SBIE environment at any time.Is this possible? I would like the download, at all times, to be within SBIE environment. It would download into SBIE then I would execute it from within SBIE environment ideally. Example, I don't want this scenario: download to S...

Re: How to download and view it within SBIE?

I also tend not to view newly introduced files in my Downloads folder with a REAL explorer This is what I was after. Which explorer do you use before then? ...instance until I'm relatively sure they're clean (eg. VirusTotal, EEK, Digital Signatures, File Hash etc) Virus Total is owned by Google - c...

Re: How to download and view it within SBIE?

But personally, I try to minimize the number of third party software installations on my system. Why? The fact that some files can trigger a process just by hovering the mouse over the file was my inspiration to use the above security approach. Here's evidence of such a potential exploit: https://b...

SBIE contents get deleted if computer shuts down by itself?

What happens to the contents within SBIE if your computer happens to
power off of it's own accord? I didn't get a chance to
delete contents due to an abrupt power off that came with no warning.

Solution to SBIE being blocked by ReHIPS

This error msg implies that ReHIPS has put in a GPO to block firefox.exe from running. GPO stands for? Perhaps it doesn't like the fact that firefox.exe is started by Sbie start.exe. Next, you need a specialized tool for data recovery. I do recommend this one: EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard 7.5 Pro
So all our deleted SBIE browser activity is retrievable by data recovery tools too?

I typed 'ReHIPS' in search box on SBIE forum but my thread is the only
one mentioning conflict between SBIE and ReHIPS.
