Re: Firefox Direct Bookmark Access

The method that is built into Sandbox Settings to specify an alternate profile folder location is: Open Sandboxie Control's window; right-click the sandbox that you will use; click on Sandbox Settings. Navigate to Applications > Web Browser > Firefox in the left-hand pane. "Click on "Allow direct ac...

Re: Possible to launch default web browser opening a url, via command line?

Firefox and it's derivatives allow you to place an Internet url at the end of the command line, separated by one space character. Re: Google Chrome Update 64.0.3282 does not work in Sandboxie

I updated to Chrome 64.0.3282.119 and also updated all "Components" (chrome://components/). When using Sandboxie's template to force Chrome to run sandboxed it works OK here, with Sandboxie 5.23.3 on 64-bit Windows 10. I have seen a couple of times a message flash on the screen - something about a n...

2. Thunderbird 52.5.2 locks up when trying to add an attachment to an email. This does not happen outside of the sandbox.
I have the same versions of Sandboxie and Thunderbird, on Windows 10, but I cannot duplicate your problem. Attachments to Thunderbird works fine when sandboxed, for me.

Re: Restrict program from reading my files

Thank you. I tried this, adding Firefox appdata to the Write only access list, firefox installs fine and opens, but every tab crashes within about 1 second of loading the website. :/ Did you start with a newly created sandbox, with only the default settings, and then add the suggested settings? Wri...

Re: Restrict program from reading my files

When installing Firefox in a sandbox you can hide the current Firefox files that are outside of the sandbox. That way nothing from that install will be included in the sandboxed install. Hide those items using Sandboxie's "File Access > Write-Only Access" setting: https://www.sandboxie.com/ResourceA...

The built-in template gives waterfox.exe Direct Access to the folders and files at: %AppData%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ If your profile isn't located underneath that path, and while you still have "Allow Direct Access to entire Waterfox profile folder" selected, go to Sandbox Settings > Applications...

It's probably controlled by the setting in sandboxie.ini: [UserSettings_.......] ... SbieCtrl_ShouldDeleteNotify=n ... ... To change the setting to "n" as shown above, use Sandboxie Control > Configure > Edit Configuration so that a Reload Configuration will automatically occur, and put the change i...
