Re: Webroot 9 + Windows 10 FCU - Unable to delete contents
Updated Sandboxie to 5.21.7. Still cannot delete contents of sandbox while Webroot is running. Same as before: If I "shut down protection" from Webroot using its menu, I can delete the sandbox contents. I have tried removing Chrome from Webroots "Application Protection", and I have tried whitelistin...

Webroot 9 + Windows 10 FCU - Unable to delete contents
Upgraded to Windows 10 Pro Creators v 1709. Sandboxie 5.20 cannot delete contents for Chrome. This did not occur before the Windows 10 update to v 1709. I read through these posts, and so updated Sandboxie to 5.21.4 Beta. Same problem. It is associated with Webroot SecureAnywhere 9.0.18.38. When I s...

Re: Cannot install v5.18 into Windows 10 64-bit
Barb, Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. The culprit was Norton Security. Even though the Sandboxie installer scanned clean and was clean in Norton's Insight, Norton blocked it and did not alert, even though Norton is set up to alert. Furthermore, there was no Norton record of blocking t...

Re: Cannot install v5.18 into Windows 10 64-bit
When you start the installation process for Sandboxie, you are presented with "Choose Install Location" . Try installing it to a different location than before, see if that makes a difference. and What happened, exactly, when you tried to install it from the website's executable file? The website's...

Barb, Thanks for the reply. Please see my answers below: [Are you also receiving any specific error messages when trying to install Sandboxie? Norton -Cannot install v5.18 into Windows 10 64-bit [SOLVED]
I was running Sandboxie 5.16 in Windows 10 Pro, saw the update notice for 5.18, and tried to update. The update was not successful; v5.16 remained. The Event Viewer message: Faulting application name: SandboxieInstall-64-bit-2280062.exe, version: 5.18.0.0, time stamp: 0x567f796c Faulting module name...

Re: Error in Sandboxie Sandbox Settings: Restrictions-Networ
I created a new sandbox and I did not copy settings from the DefaultBox. The problem also occurred in the new sandbox. Windows 10 64-bit, 10586.633. I defer Windows 10 upgrades Sandboxie 5.14 64-bit The perplexing thing is that out of our 6 PCs, this PC is the only one with this specific problem. Wh...

Re: Consistent SBIE 2314 error with certain websites
Sorry, my last post created some confusion. There is only one Sandboxie error message each time Sandboxie closes spontaneously: "SBIE 2314 Cancelling process chrome.exe [xxxx /7]". The xxxx changes each time. I'm guessing that it is the process ID #. The SBIE 2314 message seems to display always six...

Re: Consistent SBIE 2314 error with certain websites
Sandboxie is 5.14 64-bit (that was in my original post). Yes, just now, I logged in as Admin, and the problem occurs all the time with those two websites. If you go to the Microsoft Store, click to close the first message, and then the 2314 error happens. It (2314) happens with or with Antivirus, an...
