Re: Sandboxing A Game - Going From Access Log To Sandboxie.i

GameGuard is a known (shifty) entity around here.
You likely won't have much luck trying to run it sandboxed, due to how deep it digs into your system (running low-level drivers) and Sandboxie simply not playing along with those shenanigans. >_>

Re: how to change the app window position in sb

I'd be interested in this as well. For me it opens half-way offscreen to the left where my taskbar is when I open SbCtrl via the tray icon.

Doesn't really break anything, but is kinda weird.
(This resets on every restart of Windows, putting it back half-way offscreen.)

Re: Zemana Keylogger

Um... isn't it a good thing that the keylogger doesn't run inside the sandbox?

Re: Sandbox protection C: drive from D: drive?

hm... I think you can go to "Program Start -> Forced Folders" and mark the D drive in its entirety. So anything starting from that drive will be rerouted into that sandbox.
Then set Full Access under "Resource Access -> File Access" for that drive/sandbox so you can write directly to it.

Re: couldn't open any chm file in sandbox

...do you actually expect a useful response out of the info you've given here? What're chm files? Where are you trying to open them from? With what Sandboxie version? Are there mitigating circumstances like firewalls and antivirus programs? What actually happens when you try to open them? (SB hangs?...

Re: HP Mini running XP

Hm... technically speaking no browser should have problems with Sandboxie. I, for example, am running Firefox 27 without experiencing issues and have had run Chrome sandboxed before, equally without issues.

So... what are the odds of this nifty little thing being updated to the current sandboxie version?

Re: Game Guard Error 150

Hm, gameguard is a rootkit type of protection scheme. I don't think it can run inside of sandboxie, due to it not allowing lowlevel access.

Why not? Spam cannot be created that way, thus no irritation can be created.

Another option: Prevent anyone with less than X posts (1-3) from posting links and images. Spambots usually do not return, being one-off shots, and their sole purpose is to add links and images. (This will also prevent links/images from non-registered accounts, since their posts cannot be counted, w...
