Re: Lost Almost All My Sandboxed Data
Anyone have any thoughts what might have happened? I made no system changes I can think of that would have caused this.

Re: Lost Almost All My Sandboxed Data
I'm not using templates, so the retained information did not come from the host. Totally bizarre in my experience. Anyway, I was just looking for some common-sense thoughts on what might have happened if anyone wants to shoot out some ideas.

Lost Almost All My Sandboxed Data
Across several sandboxes I lost data. The strange part is, it was selective. For example, files sitting on the desktop of said sandboxes are all gone. Yet, the sandboxed browsers I have built have largely retained their settings, history, and bookmarks. One sandboxed browser I had configured kept fu...

How Would a Trojan Be Handled?
I have a secure setup following this board's advice. Still, I am curious how a trojan would behave within a sandbox that has not been locked down. Would most trojans be pretty much harmless given the fundamental nature of the program? even without effecting program/internet/file access restrictions?...

Re: Unable To Download Into Sandbox
I apologize, I'm on XP x86, however, after more tests, IE sandboxed allowed a download Pale Moon would not, so now it seems SBIE might not be the problem, I'm not sure.

Unable To Download Into Sandbox
I'm on XP x64, with SBIE 4.14. For some reason I'm getting a "source file could not be read" error with downloads that I'm not getting outside of the sandbox. I realize my program is out of date, but I am trying to make this specific configuration work for testing purposes and I keep running into th...

Re: How To Figure Out Necessary Permissions?
Thank you. Do you have any tips for allowing sandbox-installed programs to run, but having the maximum security settings enabled?

Re: How To Figure Out Necessary Permissions?
That's the issue then, they are only installed in the sandbox. Hmm, too bad as I like to try experimental programs in the sandbox, and those are often the ones I want operating in as restricted an environment as possible.

Re: How To Figure Out Necessary Permissions?
Running the process I am trying to clear shows only the exe as active. I checked the install folder to see if maybe there was a second exe or something but there isn't, so I'm not sure what I'm missing. I also cleared the process for internet access, which it needs as well. I'm getting this same res...

How To Figure Out Necessary Permissions?
I'm experimenting with limited-access sandboxes, and I can't figure out why a program won't run. I allowed it's exe file (all other programs but explorer.exe and my web browser are restricted), and the program still won't launch. How do I figure out what additional start/run access to enable for thi...

Anyone Not Using Windows Updates In Lieu of Sandboxie+other?
A solid AV with Sandboxie, along with a secured browser (adblock etc) and conscientious web behavior seems pretty secure. Is anyone not using Windows Update at all?

Re: Anyone Successfully Running MBAE & SBIE?
Thanks btm. As a 64bit user across the board, I'm hoping the development team will add full compatibility soon (without needing to restart the program, etc).

Anyone Successfully Running MBAE & SBIE?
My thread search seems to show it's still not working, but I've seen sporadic reports of success (e.g. w/3.76 which didn't work for me).
Is there a way to make this work?
Thanks

Sandboxed Items in Start Menu "Recent Items"?
Just cleared out my sandboxes, but did not change the settings. Launched items are now showing up in "Recent Items" and I'm not sure why or how to prevent this.

Re: Delete Item in Sandbox Sends It to Un-sandboxed Recycle
Where do individual items that are deleted in the sandbox go?
