Re: Support
I have the benefit of seeing all of the amazing things he does on a daily basis and what a skilled developer he is – but I completely understand your perspective. Thank you Norm. I must set the record straight though. I never ever said Curt isn't a skilled developer. In fact, this is what I said......

Re: Support
Hi Norm, I'm glad you finally made it to the forum. At first, I thought to myself that I'd better remain quiet (as I thought I had my last say), but then again I thought I shouldn't pass up this opportunity. Without further ado, I would like to bring my thread to your attention: http://forums.sandbo...

Re: Why did you close my thread?
Okay, let analyze this. You say the reason why you closed my thread is "right there in the last post on that thread". To make it simple, this is what you said... Ok, Buster. Invincea appreciates all feedback, good or bad. You have made your point -- many times. I see no point in you continuing to ha...

Re: Why did you close my thread?
There is nothing left to discuss on this issue at this time. Do you think I was born yesterday. Do you really want me to believe that's the reason you closed my thread? Is that the way Invincea does things? Man, you really have a lot to learn. I hope one day the bosses at Invincea find out how you ...

Re: Why did you close my thread?
Well errr... 83 days and 208 views later and no reply from Curt. I don't suppose he's blind nor is there a way to hide those facts. It's a sorry situation really.

Why did you close my thread?
I hope Curt reads this and explains why my thread here has been closed: http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=19665 . For anyone wanting to understand what I'm asking here, they can just read page 3 in the above-mentioned thread. You don't have to read the whole thread but can if y...

Re: Sandboxie stops working without warning
It's really sad to see this kind of thing happening to a great product. I thought I would be helping if I report bugs but I think I'll now have to stop reporting as well and save myself some frustration.

Re: Sandboxie stops working without warning
People like nnezz, who opened a problem report, came to the forum for a few months and as never got a reply, never came again. It's a pity this kind of thing is happening. Tzuk used to run a one-man-show and you can never fault him like this. You can check by running "eventvwr", expand "Windows Log...

Re: Sandboxie stops working without warning
Arrggh. Please ignore my previous post about EagleGet. I just had another crash. @stonerd, Thanks for the info. I wish you had reported the problem before because then I won't have people like Curt saying that nobody ever reported it. I'm still glad that you came forward to support my claim. I have ...

Re: Sandboxie stops working without warning
I know it's been quite a while but just in case someone else is experiencing the same issue I'm reporting back. I think I may have found the cause of the problem. I was using the portable version of EagleGet ( http://www.eagleget.com/download-eagleget-portable/ ) which installs a plugin in Firefox. ...

Re: Sandboxie stops working without warning
@Jeffrey,
Thanks again for that tip. I just had another crash and restarting Sandboxie Control worked. Even though it doesn't solve the problem at least I don't have to restart Windows to get Sandboxie working again.

Re: Sandboxie stops working without warning
Thanks for chiming in Jeffrey. That sounds exactly like what I'm experiencing. The only exception is that it happened to me in versions 4.12 and 4.14 too. All I had to do was load Sandboxie control again (didn't even have to reset the browser) and the blue border would return. How did you do that? T...

Re: Sandboxie stops working without warning
Thank you Bo. I've now followed your and Peter's advice and uninstalled Sandboxie. I even used Everything afterwards to hunt down all the leftovers and delete them before I reinstalled Sandboxie. Hopefully this issue won't rears its head again but I have no way of knowing how long I have to wait to ...

Re: Sandboxie stops working without warning
It happened again! I had just ungraded to version 4.14 and was merrily surfing away with Firefox sandboxed. I have Sbie set up to immediately recover downloads. I downloaded a few things and recovered them from the sandbox without issue when, lo and behold, I wasn't prompted for a download. I got su...
