For some users, a sandbox content level of 3 may trigger a crash, for others it causes audio/printing to not work. We have been seeing different behaviors pe...

Re: Firefox 57 Crashes Immediately When Run inside Sandboxie

Hi, just to say I have been experiencing crashes with firefox, the lowering of security.sandbox.content to level 2 seems to have fixed the problem. It is very reassuring that solutions are found and problems are being fixed quickly, including the recent windows 7 update problem. To some people ( mys...

Re: Dragon naturally speaking crashes Firefox when sandboxed

Hi Barb

It did happen in the new sandbox as well. The message is Gah. Your tab just crashed.

security.sandbox.content.level to 2 or less worked which is great thank you. I'm a bit concerned about changing a security level within Firefox but presumably that's okay.

Hi Bo,

"security.sandbox.content.level" to 2 works, didn't know FF already implemented a sandbox... been almost a year that I haven't used FF. Thanks!

Re: Sound Problem

Hi Nix

Try, Open about:config, change "security.sandbox.content.level" to 2 or 1 or 0.

If that don't work, try disabling Multiprocess, in about:config, change value to false: "browser.tabs.remote.autostart", make sure browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2 is also set to false-
