And are you installing Chrome directly into the sandbox? Or is it installed on your REAL system and you're running Chrome sandboxed from there?RT2 wrote:I'm using Windows 10 64 bits with Google Chrome 52.0.2743.82 32bits.

Re: 5.13 Beta Available (latest version 5.13.3)
It works fine outside the Sandbox. As you suggested, I created a new sandbox with default settings, tried to disable my extensions one by one, and I found the culprit : it's the ad blocker. I was using AdGuard, so I switched to uBlock Origin to see if the problem was still present, and the answer i...

Re: How to download and view it within SBIE?
I would suggest that the "best" way would be to have a "Downloads" folder where you download all files into. Then simply create a shortcut (sandboxed explorer.exe) to that folder. Everyone will have slightly different approaches and setups, but with this method, you can guarantee that every file dow...

Re: 5.13 Beta Available (latest version 5.13.3)
Thanks, nice to see the feature is being tweaked. Personally I have no use for it (and will continue using "ClosedFilePath=\Device\Mup\", even though I'm not on a network haha), but I can see that people using genuine networks would find it useful.

Re: 5.13 Beta Available (latest version 5.13.3)
ClosedFilePath=\Device\Mup\ blocks the network with no exceptions allowed. BlockNetworkFiles blocks all network files except those you specifically open (for reading or writing). So BlockNetworkFiles is much more flexible. I hope this explains things for ssj100 as well. Thanks. With 5.13.3, I've no...

Re: Clipboard issues with sandboxed Firefox and Virtualbox
I updated to the latest 5.0 version of VirtualBox (5.0.26) and can confirm the issue still exists. It's quite an interesting issue, since it's related specifically to Firefox only (as far as we can tell so far). Wonder if any other browsers (or programs) have this issue. I've tested copying and past...

Re: 5.13 Beta Available (latest version 5.13.3)
5.13.3 has been released. Thanks. Can I ask what's an example of a specific situation where this feature would be useful?: 1) Added new Sbie setting BlockNetworkFiles. It is available under Sandboxie Settings -> Restrictions. When BlockNetworkFiles=y, sandboxed applications are blocked from reading...

Re: Clipboard issues with sandboxed Firefox and Virtualbox
To the OP, what version of VirtualBox are you testing with? I've tested with 5.0.8, but I note the latest version is 5.1.2.

Re: Clipboard issues with sandboxed Firefox and Virtualbox
Interesting. My main browser currently is Chrome, so I haven't noticed this issue. But I've just tested with Firefox 47.0.1 and I can reproduce this issue. Chrome and IE don't seem affected by this. Tested with Sandboxie 5.12 64-bit. Would be interested to know other's results with the latest Beta. ...

Re: 5.13 Beta Available (latest version 5.13.2)
Presumably you are on 32-bit? Win 7 x64 but I don't do a lot of copy/cut/pasting anyway inside a box. If anything it's usually just copying text/links in or out of the browser. The issue was with copying/cutting/pasting actual files (eg. a video file) from a sandboxed explorer window to a unsandbox...

Re: 5.13 Beta Available (latest version 5.13.2)
It existed before then, Since around beta 5.11.8. As we confirmed that in some internal testing. 32 and 64. And it wasn't all the time, it could be sporadic too. Interesting, I couldn't reproduce the issue on Windows XP, 32-bit. On Windows 7 and 10 64-bit (VM), the issue was reproduced easily. I'm ...

Re: 5.13 Beta Available (latest version 5.13.2)
Finally updated to 5.13.2 last night, haven't noticed any new issues though I can't really test the copy/paste fix either as I've never seen the problem. Well, this particular copy/cut/paste problem existed on 5.12 only. And I'm pretty sure only on 64-bit systems. 32-bit systems weren't affected. P...

Re: 5.13 Beta Available (latest version 5.13.2)
Ya, Tom and I debated about this All Thursday...and we both swore we've done it. We've also tested other things related to Cut/Copy and Paste and drag and drop. Lot of testing old versions, and old OS stuff. Noticed some quirks in XP, that aren't present after XP. It's not a SBIE thing, it's certai...

Re: 5.13 Beta Available (latest version 5.13.2)
For what it's worth, drag/drop seems to work when pulling files from an unsandboxed window to a sandboxed window. But as noted above, it does not work the other way around - that is, from a sandboxed window to an unsandboxed window.

Re: 5.13 Beta Available (latest version 5.13.2)
By the way, I edited my post just before you posted, just for your interest. Anyway, the link you referenced above seems to regard a different (although similar) issue? tzuk writes: "That's right, you can't drag-and-drop from an unsandboxed app to a sandboxed window ", and "...it can't be resolved w...
