Re: New Problem with LastPass in 5.08
Nothing in the Beta nor in the RC would have any effect on LP. I've never seen anything like that. LP is used in all my VMs, and it also is using the 2FA Yubikey. The RC version 5.08, is the same as the last 5.07.x Beta, just a name change. OK, well I guess I'll have to figure out what else changed...

New Problem with LastPass in 5.08
I was successfully using SBIE 5.08 Beta with LastPass in Chrome (apart from Fingerprint 2FA). However, after upgrading to 5.08 release, I'm having a new problem. Sometimes when I click on the LastPass icon to log in, it doesn't respond. To get it to respond, I have to disable the LastPass extension ...

Re: Lastpass 4 seems to lock up browsers with SB [SOLVED]
I have a Lenovo T440 w/ a built in reader I'm testing next. I can say, w/o SBIE involved, the built in reader in that Lenovo has given me all sorts of headaches. So we shall see. Thanks so much for working on this, Craig. Wow, I've had no problems at all with the one in my T530, and I've been using...

Re: Lastpass 4 seems to lock up browsers with SB [SOLVED]
Alright. Yubikey 2FA test w/ SBIE ... Worked just fine! Glad to hear it will work for Yubikey owners. Hmm...still stuck unable to use 2FA with my Lenovo ThinkPad T530's built-in reader (my prior post gives all the hardware/software details). I sure hope there's a way to resolve this. Right now I fe...

Re: Viewing PDFs in Viewer Pane of File Explorer / DOPUS
Yep. The preview pane Windows 10 uses Metro App code wrapper. Thus, it will not work. A possible work around would be the right click on the pdf image outside of the sandbox, select properties >General Tab> Beside Opens with…click Change> then select the program you wish to have the PDF file be ope...

Viewing PDFs in Viewer Pane of File Explorer / DOPUS
I've created a sandbox for viewing PDF files. It works fine when I launch Adobe Acrobat X (not Reader, full version...no Reader installed) and then navigate to the file through the File-->Open dialog. However, I'm having problems when: 1) Using Preview Pane in File Explorer under Windows 10. I get t...

Re: Lastpass 4 seems to lock up browsers with SB [SOLVED]
Sorry - dyslexic typing! Ah, OK, that explains it. FYI, LastPass is now working for me in SBIE 5.07.8, which is good news. However, 2FA by fingerprint is still not working. It never offers me the option to swipe, although it works fine when I run Chrome un-sandboxed. Craig, thanks so much for looki...

Re: Lastpass 4 seems to lock up browsers with SB [SOLVED]
Lastpass 4.2.1a has just been released. RodLaird, excited to read this, but where are you finding this? My Chrome extension, after forcing update, still says 4.1.1, and the Downloads page at LastPass says that that's the latest version as well. In fact, their release notes pages says last update wa...

Re: Forced Folders - file extension exceptions?
I have another idea, if they use Firefox, you could set up Firefox to ask where to download, and then get the family used to choosing the Desktop for DOCX files and choosing the forced folder for everything else. After a couple of days, they ll probably get in the routine of downloading like that. ...

Re: Forced Folders - file extension exceptions?
Depending on how you got recovering files setup, what I describe changes a little but what I wrote can give you ideas on how to make things easier for your family to get used to SBIE and be comfortable with it. Thanks, Bo. That's a good workaround. I'll give that a go. I still think my suggestion o...

Re: Forced Folders - file extension exceptions?
Bo, thank you very much (again) for taking so much time to respond to one of my "newbie" questions. I really appreciate it! In this case, I'm looking to do the opposite of what you're suggesting. I would like to allow .docx files located within a forced folder to run un-sandboxed. Right now there do...

NoteZilla 8 (how 2 read other windows' title bars)
Hello, I''ve been using SBIE for about a week now and am learning the ropes. Loving it! I have a question. I"m trialing a Sticky Note program called NoteZilla 8 (on sale on BDJ today). One of its features is to attach sticky notes to particular programs, including the documents within those programs...

Re: Lastpass 4 seems to lock up browsers with SB
Thanks for working with me on this, Craig! As for the fingerprint reader.. Is this the stock reader on the laptop? Or a add on 3rd party? If it's the stock reader, make and model of the machine may help us. Stock reader on my Lenovo ThinkPad T530 (Machine Type 2359) More details from Device Manager ...

Re: Lastpass 4 seems to lock up browsers with SB
My thoughts are the 2FA key and related tools are looking for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Cryptography\ for the certs of those account in the Windows registry when LP is running a SB. Thanks for the idea, Craig. Unfortunately that didn't work for me (assuming you place it at the [GlobalSe...
