Re: Norton 360 - Unable to launch web browsers
My workaround worked for 2 days, then firefox stopped launching again.
Disabled that norton firewall setting, posted on the previous page, browser is currently working again, no idea if it'll last.

Re: Can't Connect to the forum...
Same. Mobile works fine, and if I hide behind a VPN i can connect on pc as well.
Without a VPN, the forum is unavailable. Clearing DNS did not work, deleting history did nothing either.
Maybe related to the norton/browser issue (?)
windows 8.1
latest sandboxie beta
latest norton update

Re: Web browsers (only) not working
I ran the browser once with Admin privileges (inside sandbox), closed the browser (sandbox set to automatically delete contents), and now it opens normally again, using desktop icon/taskbar/whatever.

Re: Web browsers (only) not working
Also having this issue. I updated firefox to the latest version, and also downloaded the latest sandboxie beta yesterday. I had fixed the issue until today, when it randomly started again. I see no error messages or anything, firefox just never opens. windows 8.1 sandboxie 5.21.2 norton 360 (22.10.1...

Re: 5.19 Beta Available (latest version 5.20 RC)
glad to see "SBIE2101 Object name not found -(C0000022)" has finally been addressed.
it actually affected many various applications. (but theres almost always an alternate application which provides similar functionality and doesnt throw up that error)

Re: Antivirus/Anti-malware|SBIE v5+[working/not][Updated 8/2
Just wanted to give an update that I have NOT seen conflicts with Norton 360 in quite a while (6 months+). Windows 8.1
Nothing being blocked while its running, no problems or warnings when updating sandboxie to the latest betas.
They're playing real nice.

Re: Rivatuner with Sandboxie
never really used afterburner for monitoring, but i've used it to record video of a game inside a box.
only way i could get it to work was to open 1 instance of afterburner outside the sandbox, and another inside it.

Re: Sandboxie Control won't open.
And you should remove Norton. We have it as a conflict program for a reason. It causes many issues you may have or will have. It will cause you headaches with SBIE. This why you're flagged with a pop up box when SBIE is installed or when you run software compatibility from SBIE control. It's listed...

Like the title says, I can't get sandboxie control to open by either clicking on the desktop shortcut, or by clicking the icon on the taskbar which i pinned. Only way I can open the window is by clicking the icon in the system tray, and hitting "show window". Make sure the shortcut uses this path. ...

Re: Sandboxie Control won't open.
What about the notification bar icon? What about "run browser sandboxed" icon? You can try removing SBIE totally, not copying any settings, and reloading. Of course, if you have any 3rd party security/AV programs, that can interfere as well. yes, right clicking the notification bar icon, and clicki...
