That's right. You can password-protect the wallet within the Bitcoin client.

And never forget: make regular backups of the wallet ("wallet.dat"). Best the complete folder (%AppData%\Bitcoin\)

If you use Bitcoins and the Bitcoin client:

By extending the [GlobalSettings] section of your sandboxie.ini with
you block read and write access to your complete Bitcoin wallet folder for all sandboxed programs.

I did it this way, and it seems to work so far:

- Uninstall Sandboxie
- Reboot
- Install Avira (in my case: Avira Antivirus Premium 2012, 12.0.0.877) - including realtime component
(- Reboot)
- Install Sandboxie again

Does the installation of the current version of Avira work without problems in the meantime?

The same here. Installation of it freezes.

I assume you use a NTFS file system?

But my question was how to run this automatically by Sandboxie before it runs Firefox in a sandbox.

StartProgram and AutoExec only run in the sandbox. Is there a way to start a program that runs outside of the sandbox? What I want to do with my Firefox sandbox: 1. Remove directory "c:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player" outside (real file system) of the sandbox 2. Start Firefox ...
