Sandboxie will not Autostart on startup

The Windows Startup option in "Windows Shell Configuration" is checked. I've reinstalled several times. My task manager says it's supposed to be starting (Enabled for startup). Yet it doesn't. No try icon, no errors, nothing. I'm on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. Other "relevant" software: Avast Free (Set t...

Re: Firefox not "visible" with sandboxie.

Have you tried setting eraser to always run as admin? Yes. Eraser is always set to run as admin, it also starts with windows. Sandboxie on the other hand, although the service starts with windows, the "Sandboxie control" doesn't (ie: It's not in the notification area). Now if I open up a program sa...

Re: Firefox not "visible" with sandboxie.

Firefox still does not work. Other variations of firefox (Like Palemoon do work though. So it's something specific with Firefox). Also how do I fix my second issue which I posted about? Eraser command: "C:\Program Files\Eraser\Eraser.exe" erase /quiet /method=bf8ba267-231a-4085-9bf9-204de65a6641 dir...

Re: Firefox not "visible" with sandboxie.

Also, how is firefox installed? Inside of SBIE or are you just "running it" as sandboxed? Installed normally on my SSD and just running the process sandboxed. Nothing special, No VM's or anything. no, is it installed directly into Sandboxie? As opposed to directly into Windows? No it's installed di...

Re: Firefox not "visible" with sandboxie.

I just uninstalled Avast completely (Safemode + uninstall + restarts), Firefox still doesn't open sandboxed. Literally every other program opens sandboxed. I would suggest run the Procmon so we can take a peek.. Yeah I'm doing that as we speak. Although, the list of apps you requested won't be usef...

Re: Firefox not "visible" with sandboxie.

I'm using Avast free (With all the unnecessary "tools" not installed, so just the basic AV) and Malwarebytes Premium. I've disabled both for testing, and it still doesn't work. My setup (As far as programs installed) has always been the same, even before my reformat this morning. Never had any issue...

Re: Firefox not "visible" with sandboxie.

Just installed 5.06, still no firefox. It shows up in the Sandboxie control, also in Task manager but the program doesn't actually show on my desktop or taskbar or anywhere. I can't alt+tab to it, nothing. Also important to note: All other browsers work with sandboxie, and Firefox works fine standal...

Re: Firefox not "visible" with sandboxie.

Firefox doesn't work regardless of Eraser and/or addons. I just tested both. The process is still in task manager, but the program itself is not open. Also as far as the command line for Eraser goes, I was already using the command line in the link you provided. Also: Literally 1 day ago I was using...

Firefox not "visible" with sandboxie.

I'm having two issues that I can't seem to fix despite trying for 1+ hour. :x :x :x :x :x :x :x First issue: Windows 10 sandboxie 5.05 beta and Firefox 41.02 (Set to default browser) When I open up a sandboxed browser, firefox is invisible (as in the process is running in the task manager but I don'...

Windows 10, SB 4.20 Cannot start sandboxed Service RpcSs

I've been using Sandboxie for a while, no problems. Just installed Windows 10 pro, can't start sandboxed browser, I get the error "SBIE2204 Cannot start sandboxed service RpcSs (-1)". Tried everything from reinstalling sandboxie to restarting. I tried searching for solutions but the only threads I f...
