Re: 52 GB in a Sandboxie Container???
Thanks for the tip. Running unsandboxed did not give the kind of fault. When running in the Sandbox, similar to what you say happens.

52 GB in a Sandboxie Container???
There is a low amount of space left in my HDD. I used TreeSize freeware to see which folders occupy the most space. Amazingly an empty Sandboxie container that I used the browsers fill almost 53 GB (yes - GB). Other than that folder there is really no large folder. I empty the container. Again the s...

Re: Running inside Sandboxie Folder.
Bo. I am a fan of Sandboxie as you are - and you are always constructive. But being always positive might prevent the software improved further. My computer setup might be different - but I tried several times. I saw with my own eyes program launched in Sandboxie, then after entering Windows Admin p...

Re: Running inside Sandboxie Folder.
Yes - that's what I also always do - right clicking and run sandboxed. But this time I ran inside the sandboxie folder. It first started in the sandboxie as I looked in the Sandboxie Control, then Windows asked UAC Admin password. Then it went outside Sandbox. I do not know the reason. I had to rein...

Re: Running inside Sandboxie Folder.
Yes I look at Sandboxie Control. The program terminates in Sandboxie and goes outside. Here is resource access: Clsid ------------------------------- Clsid {00021401-0000-0000-C000-000000000046} Shortcut File/Key ------------------------------- Image ------------------------------- Ipc -------------...

Running inside Sandboxie Folder.
I ran a software installer of 250MB inside a Sandboxie folder (C:\Sandbox\Ed\del\drive etc.) and it installed normally, outside of Sandboxie, in nomal Windows folders. There was no sandboxie title or border - and the installed software is now in normal programs folders. When installing, additionally...

Re: Sandboxie Crashes with 2203 Error (Guiproxy_00000004)
I just guess that these errors might happen when Tor Browser Bundle is launched and used.
Anyone tried Tor Browser bundle without making any other configuration in Sandboxie?

Re: Sandboxie Crashes with 2203 Error (Guiproxy_00000004)
Well - Chrome container already deletes itself after closing Chrome. No - I did not delete the Firefox container. Let me do it. But the error in the subject line is not answered by the authors yet? I am counting on Bo Elam's response that this error will not put jeopardy in the browsing session. All...

Re: Sandboxie Crashes with 2203 Error (Guiproxy_00000004)
Hi Bo. I am already using 4.09.4 . Tried to install 4.09.05 now, but Avast gives a virus warning. As a principle I did not disable the antivirus during install. I would better be following the new Beta releases or when it goes out of Beta. What concerned me was - when Sandboxie crashed (Sandboxie co...

Sandboxie Crashes with 2203 Error (Guiproxy_00000004)
Sandboxie crashes when I am running with Chrome and Firefox. I guess Chrome is causing it cause it also disappears. Sandboxie in the system tray disappears and when I launch it, it gives an error similar to the subject line (I select copy error - but it does not). What is the reason for that? Additi...

Re: Updater of Firefox Can Not Start Thus Firefox Can Not La
I had to run unsandboxed 2 times more after the settings done. Now fine. Clarification to my first post: I did not want updater to work. But it attempted to start and when sandboxie prevented it, it did not allow Firefox to launch. The problem was that. Because Sandboxie did not allow updater to sta...

Re: Updater of Firefox Can Not Start Thus Firefox Can Not La
Yes - I was early. After selecting "do not update" non-sandboxed, it still attempts to update. What to do now - and is there any way to make this Firefox update setting work without resetting whole settings? Or this might be a bug of Firefox 26 - or a temporary thing?

Re: Updater of Firefox Can Not Start Thus Firefox Can Not La
I guess you misunderstood or I explained myself not so clear (I did not read my post again, may be you misunderstood.) I selected "do not update". However, I did so in the Sandboxed Firefox. Because it remained ticked after restarts, I thought it accepted the selection. (I had access to the profiles...

Updater of Firefox Can Not Start Thus Firefox Can Not Launch
I have restricted programs in my browsing Sandboxie, and updater of Firefox did not start. I added updater to allowed list, again did not start. Later after googling, I learnt that downloaded files to Sandboxie can not start although they match the name of the program in the allowed list. And when t...
