Re: Firefox 57 - I cannot print

Thank you for your assistance anyway. I'll try it again when I have time with a new sandbox or even a new Firefox profile.

Re: Firefox 57 - I cannot print

It's the same path as in my first reply: https://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=131638#p131625 . Did you add the line under the correct section of sandboxie.ini (= below the name of the Sandbox using for Firefox)? I checked the location in sandboxie.ini and the entry is in the sandbox ...

Re: Firefox 57 - I cannot print

The message is
SBIE1319 Blocked spooler print to file, [4604] firefox.exe, \Device\HarddiskVolume2\Windows\Temp\HPVC68D.tmp.vdf
SBIE1320 To allow print spooler to write outside the sandbox for this process, please double-click on this message line
Based on this which path should I open?

Re: Firefox 57 - I cannot print

No luck with printing. I added the AllowSpoolerPrintToFile=y to my sandbox, but without any success. I stopped all sandboxes and reloaded the configuration before printing. I got the message box again. The files to be printed end up in the print spooler, and I have to clear them by running a batch f...

Re: Firefox 57 - I cannot print

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried it but it still doesn't work. I have to delete print files from the spool as none are printed. :(

Firefox 57 - I cannot print

I looked for a solution to print outside the sandbox with sandboxed Firefox, but the solution that I saw in the forum which involves adding an entry in the sandboxie.ini file and in Firefox settings did not help. Every time I try to print something in Firefox I see a message box SBIE1319 Blocked spo...

How to set the initial sandbox shown in Sandboxie control?

Is there a way so that when opening the Sandboxie control window the sandbox to be shown by default not to be the DefaultBox, but another one of my choosing?

Re: It may be a stupid question, but...

Thank you for the confirmation. Looking back, I see that this is compatible with the practice that you use according to what you wrote a while back in answer to some other questions by me.

Re: It may be a stupid question, but...

Thanks for the comment. So if I understand correctly according to that example, if program X is invoked by a sandboxed program Y, then X will run sandboxed in Y's sandbox. Else, if X is a Forced Program in a sandbox, it will run sandboxed if invoked either specifically from its sandbox or by any oth...

Re: HitmanPro.Alert blocking sandboxed browsers

I had the same problem with a specific program (not a browser). The workaround for me was to add it to HMPA's exceptions.

EDIT: It also occurred with Firefox after I made the above posting.

Re: It may be a stupid question, but...

Thanks Barb. Forgive me if I didn't fully understand the explanation. Taking as an example the information in the link that you mentioned: [DefaultBox] ForceProcess=iexplore.exe ForceProcess=firefox.exe [MailBox] ForceProcess=outlook.exe ForceProcess=firefox.exe What would happen in the above situat...

It may be a stupid question, but...

I have a question about Forced Programs. What happens if I have the same forced program registered in more than one sandbox and, say, I start it not in any one of those sandboxes, but using instead (unsandboxed) Windows Explorer or from the Start Menu? Assuming that Sandboxie would trap the program ...

Re: Problem with Firefox 57 with localhost and other sites

Thank you Barb. To begin with let me apologize for the continuous postings-edits. I was writing things down as they occurred. The sites do work outside the sandbox. So does the localhost entry. They also work in sandboxed Opera. I made sure that I deleted the contents of my Firefox sandbox before la...

Re: Problem with Firefox 57 with localhost and other sites

Currently I have two sessions of Firefox open. One is with the problem that I mentioned and the other one is using the new sandbox that I recently created. The problematic session now does open mozzillazine.org (!), but does not open the web page when I enter the localhost entry. The new sandbox Fir...

Problem with Firefox 57 with localhost and other sites

I recently installed Firefox 57. My previous browser was Opera and I therefore added Firefox in the sandbox that I use for web browsing with Opera. In a nutshell, sandboxed Firefox doesn't open certain pages including http://mozillazine.org. Moreover it doesn't open the web interface of a program th...
