Finally bought it
So I hate buying programs I won't lie I much prefer to buy pizzas and what not. However I have been using SandBoxie for years and considered buying it many times (I even made a topic asking about buying it a few years back but decided not to because of *online activation* scared me off) but I always...

Re: Question about Sandboxie license and VMWARE
If you have the old license you can do it. Otherwise, the new licensing scheme allows one PC at a time only. You didn't answer.... It is ONE PC the PC that owns sandboxie wants to run sandbox on it's own personal vmware virtual pcs. That is the point. A virtual machine running on your PC is like ru...

Re: Question about Sandboxie license and VMWARE
This is a VERY basic question and merits an answer.
A question like this is serious from a user perspective and is very important in the decision to buy sandboxie or not.
Why no reply?

Question about Sandboxie license and VMWARE
If a person has a *1* PC license can said person use SandBoxie on their Virtual Machines on that *1* PC?
Or is SandBoxie going to refuse to activate for them virtual machines despite the fact they exist solely on that *1* PC ?

OP has a good point, and I wasn't aware of the phone home DRM. It definitely makes me pause and consider alternatives. I guess the "Trust No Program" motto on the Sandboxie logo also refers to itself. I think the point is valid regardless of the time frame. GOG.com has been gaining a lot of momentu...

Product Key Activation gives you the ability to use multiple sandboxes at the same time, and allows you to force .exe programs to run sandboxed. If the activation process is not available, the program should still work but without those two features - assuming you haven't updated to an incompatible...

The risk of getting struck by lightning is higher than the chance of getting a virus with Sandboxie. So, have you ever been struck by lightning? Not many virus makers really care about dealing with Sandboxie or something similar in most cases the virus will just say it cannot be used in a sandbox w...

About Activation etc
I used to use Sandboxie a lot back in Windows XP it was great I loved it... When I upgraded to Windows 7 x64 Sandboxie no longer worked and was unusable and the website said the developer was not going to make a 64bit version. At that point I pretty much ended using Sandboxie. However I found it aga...
