Re: Sandboxie needs an "Auto-Sandbox" feature
As an optional feature, it sounds exciting. Call me silly [yet again] but I rather like the idea of this being a feature which people can 'enable' if desired . Guys, totally forgot about this thread, but thanks for the support. I wonder why nobody from the support and developer team responded? And ...

Re: new icons / interface
It's not even a bad idea, but to be honest, I don't think it's really necessary.

Sandboxie needs an "Auto-Sandbox" feature
Hi, It would be cool if SBIE was able to auto-sandbox all executables (and other files) except for the ones in C:\Windows and C:\Program Files, unless you use the "forced folders/programs" feature, of course. This would mean that people/noob-users can download apps and other files to any location on...

Re: Block child processes from running inside sandbox
A bit of a late of reply, but that would mean that the browser wouldn't be able to run at all, so it's no solution. But thanks anyway. ![Smile :)](images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Allow file access to certain folders
I currently have blocked access to all data on on my E drive, but I want to allow access to only certain folders. Of course I can make blocking rules for most folders on the drive, but that would be very unhandy. So a "block all except" feature per sandbox or system-wide would be cool. ![Smile :)](images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Block child processes from running inside sandbox
It would be cool if you could block certain apps from being launched as a child process. I hate it when apps try to run the browser automatically after install. ![Mad :x](images/smilies/icon_mad.gif)

Re: anti exploit
I'm not sure why nobody replied. But as long as you run these apps inside the sandbox, it will contain the malware that might be loaded when these apps are exploited, it's the same as with protecting the browser or any other app. That's the whole point of Sandboxie. ![Smile :)](images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Re: Can not run certain apps inside sandbox
Other apps that wouldn't run are AWFT (64 bit) and HookMe even crashed the SbieCtrl.exe process. Of course, these tools are meant to test security tools, but I still think they should at least be able to run, and not cause weird behavior. http://www.atelierweb.com/products/firewall-tester/awft-downl...

Can not run certain apps inside sandbox
Hi, For some reason some apps refuse to run, can you guys check this out? SBIE immediately cancels the process from running. It's almost like SBIE is being too restrictive. This happens in a clean sandbox with no restrictions and drop rights is disabled. http://www.snapfiles.com/get/customizergod.ht...

Re: Sticky Password breaks Sandboxie - take 2
OK, so Sticky Password running sandboxed can fill in passwords into a non sandboxed Firefox? Do you also get to see any dll files related to SP into FF? You can check this with Process Explorer. And you're talking about a certain SP template. Is it possible that this template gives SP access to both...

Re: How to make Direct Folders work inside sandbox?
I'll try to take a look and see if I can figure out a resolution but my first suspicion was that it had something to do with the OpenWinClass=# line. I was being silly, I totally forgot to check this, but good news, after removing this line, XnView can run sandboxed again + Direct Folders keeps wor...

Re: Problem with Opera 12 + Firefox 42
Bad news, it doesn't happen as often anymore, but it still sometimes does. So I will label this as a "freak bug". It must somehow be related to FF, it seems to be some kind of weird interprocess communication error, when Opera 12 and FF are running in the same sandbox. I've even cleaned the sandbox,...

Re: How to make Direct Folders work inside sandbox?
I just re-checked trying all types of things and can't get it to show me a single issue. I had notes about other lines I had thought of adding to the template before but they didn't seem to be needed so I left them out. Maybe they'd help to get it working for you and xnview? If it still doesn't wor...

Re: Problem with Opera 12 + Firefox 42
Good news, I've upgraded to the latest version (507-3), and I haven't encountered any problems. I did also disable a certain self protection feature in SpyShelter, but if I recall correctly, even without SpyShelter installed I also had this problem. But anyway, I'm glad the problem is fixed. ![Smile :)](images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

I'll try to take a look and see if I can figure out a resolution but my first suspicion was that it had something to do with the OpenWinClass=# line but so far I can't reproduce the issue. Thanks for checking, but it's really weird. It also happens in sandboxes without any restrictions. And with th...
