Re: Run a program under SB - no way to cancel?
This is a restriction of the free version. You cannot bypass it. Sorry for my bad English. I'm not trying to bypass the restriction 😃 I'm trying to ABORT the SB process by clicking the "X" at top right. The complete "expected" procedure would be as follows. Start configuration: - Chrome is not open...

Re: Run a program under SB - no way to cancel?
The attached screenshot shows the first and second dialog in sequence. When the second dialog is presented, there's no way to cancel, or back out. What does this dialog display? See second screenshot, which relates to "Licence Manager" At this point the application should be starting, and it can be ...

Run a program under SB - no way to cancel?
If I want to run a program within SB, and then change my mind, I don't think there's any elegant way to back out. AFAIK, I must continue to launch the program and then close the program. Here's an example using Chrome. - Start Chrome as follows: R-click on desktop icon > Run Sandboxed - The small "R...

Sanboxie has stopped working with Chrome [SOLVED]
I have SB 5.22 with Chrome and Win 10 Pro. SB was working perfectly when I shut down last night. This morning, none of the tabs opened in Chrome. The same tabs open fine with non-SB Chrome. Also, Thunderbird and my bookmarks manager (miTaggedMarks) work OK with SB. I uninstalled SB 5.22, and reinsta...

Re: "Quick Recovery" is not offered at shutdown
. The good news is that I have cracked this issue by a complete uninstall followed by a clean re-install. In my younger days, that would have been one of the first things to occur to me. (For SB, I normally choose the "Overwrite" option.) The bad news is that I still don't know what the problem was ...

Re: "Quick Recovery" is not offered at shutdown
. Please try deleting the contents of your Sandbox and re-test. Start: With SB Chrome open, R-click SB sys tray icon. Click "Terminate All programs" Chrome is closed. RE-open SB Chrome. Again I see the question: "Restore pages? Chrome didn't shut down properly." Click Restore (which is what I've bee...

Re: "Quick Recovery" is not offered at shutdown
. Are any of the programs still showing up in your Sandbox after you manually close them? Maybe something is lingering. Let's deal with Chrome first. There's a possibility that Chrome is lingering. I say that because when I restart Chrome in SB, I'm now told that Chrome did not shut down correctly, ...

"Quick Recovery" is not offered at shutdown [SOLVED]
. I have SB beta 5.17.4 with Win 10 Home Pro. I run 3 programs sandboxed: Chrome, Thunderbird, and a bookmarks program. Before I shut down my laptop, I close all these progs manually. Until recently, the Quick Recovery dialog was always presented after deleting the final prog (the bookmarks prog alw...

This issue has returned after upgrading to SB 5.17.2
You might recall that I had this issue with SB 5.16. At that time the issue was solved by using the latest beta.
Please advise.

I delete SB daily. Why do I see many days of Chrome history?
. I use SB 5.17.2 in Win 10 Home Pro. I shut down my laptop each night. Before shutdown, I recover required files. Then I delete the SB contents. The recovered files are always for the same program - a bookmarks program. (I often download files from the internet, but these are recovered immediately ...

Thanks Barb. The beta version solved the problem
I forgot to mention in my last post that the Opera patch had no effect.
