Can you set Run Sandboxed items on sandbox to load custom
I have some programs that I would like to appear on the Run Sandboxed option and I was wondering if there's a way to add items to this menu?

Is there a way to put wild card files in a group
I was wondering if it's possible to put wild cards in a process group, for example: ProcessGroup=<safe_file_types>,*.txt,*.doc,*.jpg OpenFilePath=firefox.exe,<safe_file_types> I would like to be able to let certain programs save files directly if they're low risk types. By the same token I'd like to...

Thanks for the reply but what I'm looking for is a way to only sandbox exe files that are in a directory. I don't want to sandbox other files. The idea is that if someone downloads a potentially dangerous file I want them to be protected from it infecting the actual system. However, I find no reason...

Can u block file access to software not on system?
Is there a variable that can be used to block access to a directory to any program that isn't installed on the physical system?

Can u force exe files to run sandboxed on desktop?
Is it possible to sandbox all exe files that run from the desktop by default? This would be easy with any other file type but how would you do this with programs which run by themselves?

I noticed the wild card after I posted it, but thanks for the reply. As far as the second option I think it would be handy for end users.

My suggestions for sandboxie
I'd like to see an option that extends direct/full access to use file extensions. For example, for txt files all programs have direct access, for doc files ms word has direct access, but word couldn't directly modify exe files. I'd also like to see an option that automatically sandboxes exe files an...

Problems with 3.46
Just a couple of problems I ran into with 3.46 of sandboxie: 1) My browser sandbox locks up. I can't access the apps, and they won't shutdown. I can't kill them no matter what I try. I have to hard reboot my computer. 2) Certain apps won't work. I can install some msi apps like office. I keep hearin...

I used to have this issue. How I resolved it was deleting all the contents in the sandbox and doing all my updates out of the sandbox. I disable auto updates as well. If it doesn't work I don't know what the issue is unless there's so weird setting in your sandbox.

Little confused by your problem. Do you save your pdfs or view them and want to recover them? If you download them why don't you just add the download path to quick recovery or use direct access? I use sandboxie for all by browsing and I never need to go into the sandboxie contents folder. I just sa...

Thanx for the reply but I know how to save outside the sandbox. What I would like to do is have it so items saved to a select location can be run outside of the sandbox from within a sandboxed app. Sorta a reveral of the forced programs feature. For example, with Firefox lets say I download a progra...
