Sandboxie 5.24 install failed - Win XP [DUPLICATE]
My current version is 5.22 and I tried to update to 5.24.
It failed !
Please advise what may be wrong, I have never had a Sandboxie update fail before.
Error panel says = Sandboxieinstall (1).exe is not a valid Win32 application.

Re: Sandboxie not saving passwords on Opera closure
Hello yabbadoo , The first tweak, provided by Bertus, only allows passwords to be stored (which is what you asked for). However, since this is the second thread you create regarding Opera, it seems that you are trying to give it full access to your host. My suggestion should allow you to achieve th...

Re: Sandboxie not saving passwords on Opera closure
Hello yabbadoo, I tested the solution proposed by Bertus and it worked fine. It doesn't work for you? Just add (like you added before): opera.exe,%AppData%\Opera Software\*\Login Data* If you want full access to Opera's profile, so that everything you do in Opera is saved directly to your host (not...

Re: Sandboxie not saving passwords on Opera closure
I do not use the opera browser. After a quick search, it seems that opera stores the passwords in the "login data" file (similar to chrome). Check if you can find the "Login Date" file the appdata directory. So you could use: OpenFilePath=opera.exe,%AppData%\Opera Software\*\Login Data* greets The ...

Re: Multiple Sandboxes
WHY do we need to create other sandboxes ? I have worked for 10 years just having the default box and see no reason to have a second or more sandboxes. Browsing Gaming Testing Reduce wear and tear on SSDs etc With multiple sandboxes, how does Sandboxie control them and how does the user know what i...

Re: Sandboxie not saving changes in Opera
My dear Barb, i just could not wait to try what you said, so I have done. IT WORKED ! I save tested 2 bookmarks, completely logged off and started again using Sandboxie to open Opera. The 2 bookmarks were still there (before they would have been deleted on shutdown). So it seems yet again the proble...

Re: Sandboxie not saving changes in Opera
Barb, that post has excited me. I will investigate what you have said this evening and like Macarthur said "I will return". But thanks so much for your time and effort in providing such an encouraging comment. It looks like at least you have cracked it, so if I do not mess it up, my problems will be...

Re: Sandboxie not saving changes in Opera
No Barb - no progress. I tried the fix shown in my post from a previous years ago thread - it worked then - but as I said. the fix goes into the Direct Access panel but when i hit Apply it disappears. So whilst it worked in those days, it does not now - must be something to do with Sandboxie later v...

Re: Sandboxie not saving changes in Opera
I discoverd that I have had this problem before some years ago, see - https://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=22882 The solution was given by "rpljhun", page 2nd second post. I repeated that and although the added items appeared in the panel, they disappeared when I hit "apply". Hav...
