Yes, it is always set. So long as protection in place, I am not so worried.tzuk wrote:If the configuration file includes the setting 'ExperimentalProtection64Bit=y', then the tick mark should appear. So I don't know what to suggest here.

Thanks, Mike. I do have mixed case IPC resource names, so 64 bit protection is enbabled. And, despite trying 3 or 4 times yesterday to get the tick enabled, including the required reboots, when I checked today after the Resource Accees Monitor test you suggested, to my embarrassment the tick is back...

64 bit protection
Since upgrading to 3.56 from 3.55b10, no 'tick' shows against 'Experimental protection (64 bit)' in the configure menu, although the configuration file includes a global setting of 'ExperimentalProtection64Bit=y'. I assume protection is enabled, but is it possible to test this? But I would like the ...

3.55 beta 11Problem - Firefox 5.05 beta & flash movies
Using 64 bit Win 7, flash movies do not play - reverted to b10 and all is ok. They played when the browser was not sandboxed.

Do you use any program that will create a new virtual drive, such a Daemon Tools - which (I think) allows you to mount a CD disc, that was copied to the hard drive, as a new drive letter? I read one report that said Daemon Tools can trigger a reactivation request. Yes, I have been trying a couple! ...

Sandboxie keeps asking to activate
All of a sudden, Sandboxie keeps asking to activate and then tells me it won't do so again for 180 days, but does. Same on my laptop.

Hi Tzuk It's flippin' Kaspersky 2011. I reverted to an earlier image with KIS2010 and is is now well again. KIS2011 is also causing other problems, so I am leaving it uninstalled for a while to see if a future update cures my problems. But 'why' is another question, and I can't now say if it is an E...

Sandbox not deleting properley v3.46
My Sandbox directory (non-standard location) is not deleting properly on close after a Firefox (3.6.6) browsing session. I have always used eraser (currently 5.8.8) with the command: "C:\Windows\System32\Eraserl.exe" -folder "%SANDBOX%" -subfolders -method DoD_E -resultsonerror -queue but now althou...

Orbit Downloader
I have used this downloader for many years, and it has always worked well with Sandboxie. However, now if I click on a download link it starts and downloads the file as normal, but if I do the same on another file it does not get added to the download list. I can drag the link to Orbit and it works,...

Firefox - "could not initialise - RESOLVED
Suddenly I am getting an "Alert" when starting Firefox. It may be a coincidence, or not, but this only started after M$'s usual monthly security updates. The dialogue goes on to refer to checking no read/write restrictions, but the sandbox has always operated with reduced rights and without problems.
