Re: Touch keyboard does not launch in sandboxed browser

ok, thanks. I am really surprised that SBIE is never tested on touch screen. Surface pro must not be an uncommon device even in business set ups.Touch screens are so ubiquitous.

Re: Touch keyboard does not launch in sandboxed browser

Hi,thanks for help but unfortunately it doesn't work. I noticed everytime I touch in url or search bar, an instance of tabtip.exe process is launched inside SBIE. If i touch inside url bar ten times, ten instances of tabtip.exe are launched. However the child process tabtip32.exe is never launched, ...

I tested it and malware seems to do nothing. May be vmaware. :(

Malware process just starts, deletes its own file and dies. That,s all I can see.

Going by the description of the behavior, it seems to me that it could affect Sandboxie 3.76. At the same time, it seems to me that Sandboxie 4 would not be vulnerable to this. The guy told me both 3.x and 4.x are vulnerable in the test he did. I will ask him to share his POC. Hi, Buster as long as...

To correct the record I think it was a stupid question on my behalf. ARM version of windows 8 will not allow a non-Microsoft code in desktop mode so no SBIE there. As far as metro apps are concerned they cant penetrate the system deep that SBIE will need so no question of a metro SBIE app and also a...

It is very good decision from MS to support ARM etc. It gives customers more choices. I don,t see any reason to criticize this. As far as coding is concerned, people's will do code anything if they get the reward for it.

Hmmm.... I really wish you can review your decision. That means no protection for win 8 ARM tablets from SBIE.

Really sad!

Support for windows 8 as an App in metro style

I don,t know where I should post this. Just want to ask if there are any plans to support windows 8 as an App in metro style for sandboxie. Seems so early to ask but I am curious as there is strong rumor that ARM tablets will have only metro style software, no legacy desktop mode.

thanks

Force Sandbox All Unknown Applications

I am posting here after a long time indeed. I want to suggest a feature. excuse me in advance if it has already been discussed. Pls add a rather huge white list in SBIE with an option to force all unknown applications sandboxed. When an unknown application will run, it will be sandbxed and an alert ...
