Firefox v53.0, 64-bit SBIE 5.18 All Application boxes checked, except "Force Firefox to run in this sandbox..." about:config security.sandbox.content.level Changed from "1" to "0" I now have sound with Firefox inside ...

Re: No Sound with Video on FF 50.0
I have the sound problem on a fresh build of a client's machine. On my own Win7-x64 machine, I found multiple keys under ..\PropertyStore that contain 'firefox.exe' I'm not clear when you say 'delete the branch'. Q: do you mean to delete each subkey, or the value within each subkey that contains "fi...

Re: No sound on google chrome or any media in sandboxie.
I have this identical problem after a fresh rebuild of a client machine. The machine was reinstalled fresh from the Dell Win7 Pro DVD onto a new Samsung 850 Pro SSD. All maintenance, etc, is installed. Firefox 53.0 64-bit version. Latest FLASH for this browser. Java 1.31 for x64. I backed out SBIE 5...

Re: SB 5.12 junk qualified for recovery
I'm a strong IT person, and know the reboot drill very well. I had to manually delete the sandbox folder of some 37gb of junk. I did a successful uninstall and discard the user settings. This still leaves a ton of junk on the system and registry. The license code remains in whatever hidden location ...

SB 5.12 junk qualified for recovery
The client machine is seeing the Recovery box pop up right at the start of the browsing session. The many files eligible for recovery are all the various javascript and other support files for a Yahoo home page. Some 37gb of junk was accumulated over a long period of time. The junk does not clear wi...

SBIE 4.02 Fails to Launch Under Win7/SP1 x86
This is a fresh install of Win7. McAfee 8.8 / P3 is installed. Attempting to launch from the Sandboxed Web Browser icon fails to launch. No browser is opened, and the SB control icon in the system tray goes to red X, then clears. No event logs are generated. SB 3.76 works correctly. SB 4.02 fails Th...
