I have been getting the same error as well. I run Waterfox, which is a fork of Firefox, version 40.0.2, on Windows 10.

Nevermind, my bad. I downloaded the OLD version. I click on the big download link instead of the "Click here" in the tiny "Sandboxie now supports Windows 10. Click here for the beta version" below everything bigger and shinier that distracted me. It is working fine now.
