Re: OpenWinClass=* - Bluescreens since Version 5.18

Sadly I'm currently out of ideas and my kid said you were a lost cause so I'm inclined to believe that. Who knows how things go later on but for now not all that promising. LOL :( There must be a way to find out why Sandboxie makes BSODS at OpenWinClass * only at Windows 10 CU . Or a way todo what ...

Re: OpenWinClass=* - Bluescreens since Version 5.18

But as said also without Aster Installed only 1 User and Sandboxie get this BSOD with OpenWinClass * Ah I must have missed that when skimming over all the posts. I downloaded and tried it in a VM but it seems Aster has the same issue with the workspace in a VM as it does with stuff in Sandboxie and...

Re: OpenWinClass=* - Bluescreens since Version 5.18

I use it with Multiseat Software Aster V7 from IBIK. An older notice: http://www.ibik.ru/version-for-windows-10 Attention! The Aster V7 is incompatible with Windows 10! I was going to try and reproduce but I can't find a download for 'just V7': Only: http://www.ibik.ru/downloads-free-trial and also...

Re: OpenWinClass=* - Bluescreens since Version 5.18

Hi X-Gamer, What I am suggesting is that if you provide me with the exact steps to set up an environment similar to yours, I can test if there is anything else , aside from " * " that we can open to allow the interaction you want. However, do keep in mind that Sandboxie was meant to isolate program...

Re: OpenWinClass=* - Bluescreens since Version 5.18

Hi X-Gamer, As covered, we are aware of the BSOD caused by opening "*". We only recommend to use that for testing purposes. I would like you to tell me what's the original problem, the one that requires you to use "*" in order to bypass it. When I tested, I did not use that open class, and I was ab...

Re: OpenWinClass=* - Bluescreens since Version 5.18

Hello X-Gamer, " * " is triggering a BSOD so I did not use that setting. You should only try it for testing purposes anyways. Please provide the exact setup and repro steps to see the issue and I will test it. My previous tests did not return any problems, so I need you to walk me thru it so that I...

Re: Allow Steam full access to keyboard / mouse

By using OpenWinClass=* you are allowing direct access to Window Objects outside the sandbox and rely on Windows UIPI mechanism to mitigate attacks. Windows allows UIPI bypass with requirements. 1. Setting UIAccess attribute to true in program's application manifest. 2. Digitally signed and trusted...

Re: Allow Steam full access to keyboard / mouse

Sounds like you have done everything according to instruction. Purpose of uiAccess.exe is merely to pass on uiAccess privilege. SendInput stuff is there just to test without Steam involvement. Steam.exe mustn't exist in the Sandbox ("Stream Launch Failed"). uiAccess.exe must exist in real Program F...
