Re: Maxthon not opening in SB

Do you have Maxthon installed inside the sandbox? I use Maxthon as a forced to start in a sandbox browser. Other than having to manually setup the access to relevant folders outside the sandbox I don't remember having any other issues. I'm using W7 64bit. Have you tried other browsers in the sandbox...

Re: Sandboxie Breaks School Website?

Were you uploading files or entering answers onto a form or when pressing submit to submit a page of answers.

I suspect a different browser would work OK, I remember having issues with Firefox similar to this but this was a a couple of years ago. Try a chrome based browser or even IE to compare.

Re: problem "SBIE2314 "

It looks to me like the game is looking to 'hook' into the operating system at a deeper level than sandboxie will allow. You might be able to modify the sandbox settings to allow it access where the game needs but this will obviously compromise your security.

Re: Sandboxie Crashes with 2203 Error (Guiproxy_00000004)

You don't mention whether you have deleted the browser sandbox? I would delete the sandbox and try launching your browser again. It could simply be a virus re-directing your browser to a virulent website. I have seen something similar where the browser kept shutting down but can't remember the error...

Secure Delete and Shutdown.

I regularly see requests for this or something similar so thought I would post my simple code for people to copy and paste into notepad, edit as necessary and use. You will need to download and install the secure delete program of your choice. As we all know, secure deleting files can take a long ti...

Re: Programs appear to be bypassing sandbox???

I seem to remember having some kind of issues installing from within a sandbox (Can't remember what) so have always installed inside a sandbox from outside any sandbox, if that makes any sense. Thinking about it some more I feel sure it was an issue with things finding their way outside of sandbox's...

Re: Sandboxie doesn't load any page.

Something may be corrupt in Sandboxie or the browser.

Does the browser work outside of the sandbox?

If it does re-install the latest Sandboxie.

If you are familiar with your OS, browser and sandboxie it is possible to use any browser I can think of. I use Maxthon 4.

Re: Shutdown of a computer

Sandboxie does not have a shutdown function. If you are wanting your PC to shutdown automatically after a lengthy secure delete session then this would have to be done by an external erase program or write a batch file to do it. Don't forget to stop Sandboxie from deleting the sandbox and have the d...

Outlook 2010 Registry Entry. Windows 7 Ultimate.

Hi, I believe the standard registry entry automatically setup when selecting office outlook is slightly incorrect. It is currently HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\Outlook I believe it ought to be HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft...
