Progress bar recovering large files
Is there a way to add a progress bar when recovering large files?. When I recover large files (1gb and bigger) sandboxie seems to do nothing. Sometimes even windows indicates a not responding recovery window. It is not a big issue but it will give better feedback to the user what sandboxie is doing....

firefox quantum cookies direct access template fix
I always run firefox in a sandbox. For some sites I want to preserve the cookie. In order to do this I enable the "Allow direct access to firefox cookies" setting but this doesn't seem to work with the new Firefox quantum. To make it work I also have to create an OpenFilePath to the webappsstore.sqli...

If you want to launch a program outside the sandbox, you can temporally disable sandboxie by choosing "disable forced programs".

Re: Multiple Error Popups Every Time Sandbox Deleted
You can try to use the SDelete command instead of RMDIR and see if the errors remain. On the other hand the error message you have provided, says :"The system cannot find the file specified" It seems that the RMDIR command is unable to find the file to delete. I do not know for sure but It may have ...

Re: Sandboxie not saving passwords on Opera closure
I do not use the opera browser. After a quick search, it seems that opera stores the passwords in the "login data" file (similar to chrome).
Check if you can find the "Login Date" file the appdata directory.
So you could use:
OpenFilePath=opera.exe,%AppData%\Opera Software\*\Login Data*

Re: disable the delete dialog box for local templates
Thanks for your suggestion. Created a dummy sandbox and enabled all local templates. This indeed disables the delete dialog box for unused local templates.Guest10 wrote:You could Create a sandbox that you will never use and Apply the local templates to that sandbox.
Thanks

disable the delete dialog box for local templates
I use a couple of portable browsers. I have set up separate sandbox folders for given each browser. I give certain permissions for each sandbox by using local templates (local application configuration). For certain browsers I like to enable or disable certain local templates and not delete them com...

Re: Thunderbird folderlocation
What you can try is to add the new path for your thunderbird install to the sandboxie.ini configuration. In the sandboxie control window choose "edit configuration" in the "configure" menu. Copy the template settings below and paste it after your [usersettings] (replace the "D:\mail\Thunerbird\Data\...

Re: 5.15 Beta Available (latest version 5.15.4)
I have an issue with the "Always on Top" setting. When I activate this option the "Sandboxie Control" window is indeed always on top. I am using the Immediate Recovery option to recover a file after downloading. When the "Immediate Recovery" window pops up and after recovering the file, the "Sanboxi...

firefox startup delay with lastPass plugin solved
I use firefox with the lastPass plugin. With recent versions of firefox and lastPass I noticed a delay when starting firefox sandboxed. The delay was less noticable when firefox, with the lastPass plugin, was started unsandboxed. To solve this delay I added a local read only template to my firefox s...

Re: Firefox crashes after downloading files
could it be related to 64 vs 32 bitbit architecture of FF? Do you mean FF 64 or 32 bit in relation to sandboxie 64 or 32bit? In my case Cyberfox 32 and 64 bit crash in sandboxie 64bit. Is it possible to install sandboxie 32bit on windows 8.1 64bit without resorting to any windows compatibility sett...
