Re: 5.07 Beta Available (latest version 5.07.2)
I have a feeling the Steam update might be making it harder to run two copies together. A read of their TOS would seem to suggest they might consider it a cheat

Re: Sandboxie website has no HTTPS
Social Media. I understand the reason you guys want to do it, but just be prepared.... How do I use Sandboxie so I can safely post when my family will be away from home....... or How do I use Sandboxie to safely post nude pictures of my young kids....... Better measure the extra revenue vs the incre...

Re: Make it possible to install MS Office inside a sandbox
Given the services and possibly drivers you probably won't be able to install it in a Sandbox. That is precisely what Sandboxie is design to prevent.

Re: SBIE 5.06 not working for any program
I checked the Comodo settings and found that all the files listed in the Sandboxie compatibility settings url you posted are in the trusted list. Also disabling all Comodo functions temporarily (HIPS,Sandbox, firewall) did not solve the issue. No errors were noted in Comodo's logs so I'm wondering ...

Re: Some installers seem to fail
That works... however.. I usually try programs out first in Sandboxie, to see if things get messed up. Before installing anything in the system. Not that I distrust this particular software though. It is just an example where I *know* the installer fails every time. But if you feel this is OK, and ...

Re: MS Outlook 2016 - Sandboxie guide
A lot of this depends on how you use Outlook. I use Outlook 2010, and if I sandbox it I can get it to work sort of. But I run into problems with indexing, and also dictionaries. Finally what breaks it is the fact I also use Quickbooks which sends it's emails via Outlook. Just to big a mess trying to...

I ended up going back to the 32bit. I did see some issues and it was because the flash player(as opposed to flash) doesn't support 64 bit browsers. Also I didn't really see any gain.Bellzemos wrote:Please report if you'll see graphic glitches too.

Re: Anti-Virus|SBIE v5+ (working/not) (Updated 11/23)
According to the firefox site the x64 version hasn't been released, so there may be issues with it. According to which site exactly? FF x64 42.0 was first x64 version released as stable, just has not been loudly announced. https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/41.0/ https://ftp.mozilla.org/p...

Curious if you are trying to force the same program to run in all the sandboxes?

Re: Anti-Virus|SBIE v5+ (working/not) (Updated 11/23)
Sandboxie seems to work fine with ESET Endpoint AV. I have only tested it for a little bit though. I see a problem with Firefox though: - fresh install of Windows 10 Pro x64 - Firefox x64 v42.0 - Sandboxie v5.06 Tabs in Firefox disappear (graphic glitches) and quite often full pages or parts of pag...

Happy seeing that everyone is having a good experience so far (knocking on wood...fingers and toes crossed...) There was significant work dedicated to this Beta. Curt, Tom & the Team had a lot of challenges to overcome. It appears, as usual...their work has paid off. Feedback from everyone is of th...

1. Image your system so you can roll back
2. Install the latest SBIE and see what happens.

Re: Keylogging and scraping screen images
Hi Mr X We run very similar configurations. I love Shadow Defender, but you can't test install something requiring a reboot. Give Macrium Reflect v6 Home version a whirl, and you won't look back. My C: drive currently sits at 147gb. Full image time is 18 minutes, but an incremental image takes on a...
