Re: Can One Sandbox Read What's Going On In Another

Thank you for your replies, for easiness I think I'll do what Bo suggests, and just terminate all programs before doing anything sensitive.

Thanks again for your help :D

Can One Sandbox Read What's Going On In Another [SOLVED]

Hello all, I've been a registered Sandboxie user for about 6 years, and the other day decided to have a play with multiple sandboxes, instead of just using one. I quite like how using separate sandboxes further isolates the programs, but I have one question. I'm fairly certain that something in sand...

Re: Product activation failed

Same problem here and offline activation worked, but I hope they get this sorted as I don't want to activate offline forever.

Re: Question About Firefox & Chrome

Hi again, I've heard back from Last Pass and they say as long as I'm using V4.xx of the Firefox plugin, I should be protected much more effectively from the namespace bug in Firefox that is called crossfire. But they also said they can't protect me from a compromised system, which goes without sayin...

Re: Question About Firefox & Chrome

Thanks for your reply Craig #1. I do this all the time. #2. I only use the Default Box to sandbox my web browser(s), PDF reader & VLC, but even if I created a separate sandbox for Firefox, wouldn't the extensions for Firefox be in the same sandbox as Firefox? #3. Mr. Gibson didn't mention SBIE he wa...

Question About Firefox & Chrome [SOLVED]

Hello everybody, I've been using Sandboxie for about 5 years now and wouldn't be without it. About 6 months ago I switched my default browser from Chrome to Firefox, because nearly every time Chrome was updated I'd get problems and have to install beta versions of Sandboxie to get up and running aga...

Re: bits error

I run Chrome sandboxed and got these same error popups. I added the following 3 lines to the Sandboxie.ini file, near the bottom, and the popups no longer appear. SbieCtrl_HideMessage=2214,bits SbieCtrl_HideMessage=2219,SandboxieDcomLaunch.exe [DefaultBox] SbieCtrl_HideMessage=2220,SandboxieDcomLaun...

Can Sandbox 1 Access Sandbox 2

I tried changing the container folders so as sandbox 1 and sandbox 2 are stored on different drives, but it seems I am unable to do this. So if I have 2 separate sandboxes, both using the same container folder, can the contents of sandbox 1 access and/or manipulate the contents of sandbox 2. Here is...

Sorry I must have missed that, probably because I don't bother with beta versions. If Sandboxie doesn't hook the kernel anymore does that make it less secure? I thought that all Sandboxing programs, e.g. Sandboxie, Defense Wall, Geswall, had to hook the kernel for maximum protection? Sorry if this q...

Experimental Protection (64 Bit)

Hello, I've been using Sandboxie on Windows 7 x64 for a couple of years now. I've noticed that the Experimental Protection for 64 Bit is no longer there. I assume that V4.xx is as good at protecting on 64 bit as it is on 32 bit. When I first bought Sandboxie it couldn't protect 64 bit as well as 32 ...
