Since you are delaying the release of SBIE 4.18 and more SBIE users are facing this Chrome and Chromium-based browsers compatibility issues, can you consider to make it a sticky thread until you sort out the other issues to release 4.18 ?

Installing SB 4.17.8 beta (http://www.sandboxie.com/SandboxieInstall64-417-8.exe) will solve your problem.
(If you can wait, SB 4.18 should be final later today )

UPDATE Just did complete uninstall of sb V374 64b on the C560 then installed V416 64b ,no luck same trouble. Reinstalled V374 all ok. Google Chrome has just released their build 43.0.2357.65 as their stable version.

Sandboxie does not have much time left to finalize their version 4.18 before more users on version 4.16 will complain that their new Chrome browser does not work anymore
