I wonder if it would be worth trying to uninstall both programs, and installing them in the reverse order to the way I installed them this time?

Yes, I get a MicroSoft warning pop up saying that the firewall has stopped working, and when I try to click on the Taskbar Icon, the Icon disappears. Also, I should clarify that I have previously run both programs together without problems, although I'm not sure if they were the same versions.
