No Red Dots Appearing

Hi! Don't be alarmed Tzuk. Those little red dots are faithfully appearing in my little sandbox icon down there. But they are not appearing here below following the hyper-link when the sandbox is being filled, and they should be, as it would look better. And Sandboxie fully deserves to look its best ...

PS: The "There is nothing to delete" message appearing before did not mean that the folder was empty when I used to check that. But last night I put my laptop into hybernation, and today Sandboxie gives me a blank content folder every time I close the browser when I check. And that only because I le...

I just went through a similar difficulty. (See: the thread "Sandboxie Cannot Remove Folder".)
Tzuk recommended a small free program called Unlocker. It works great.

After disabling Index Service I started to get problems after pulling my laptop out of Standby and Hibernation: partial freezes, LAN problems, having to reboot manually by pressing the physical Off button for a few seconds until it shut my machine down, and then push it again to start it up, and I e...

Of course you don't really need xp-AntiSpy to disable Indexing Services. I just found this website with a list of services that are not really necessary and can be safely disabled, as well as those that are needed and you better don't touch. It begins with a video -if you want to see it- with an exa...

PS: I did let Unlocker remove everything from the sandbox it could first. It could nor remove "C:\WINDOWS\system32\cidaemon.exe" or so it seemed (*). But since I ticked "Disable indexing service" in xp-AntiSpy I have not seen that appear in the sandbox anymore. And -again- Sandboxie automatically cl...

Thank you, guest10.

I have a small free program called xp-AntiSpy. It lets you tweak a list of things. One is "Disable indexing service". I got a hunch and ticked it. Now it's "Sandbox is empty. There is nothing to delete." every time after I close the browser.

Thank you so much, Tzuk. Unlocker does the job I just found out.

So now I don't even have to reboot anymore to be able to have Sandboxie remove those leftovers it didn't get rid of if its box becomes too stuffed after a while.

Thank you very much for those explanations.

You are right about Sandboxie having nothing to do with the e-mail links issue: un-sandboxed it also happens.

I guess it might have to do with my Opera settings. I'll find out.

Sandboxie Cannot Remove Folder

Hi! I am sure this has been addressed and solved before, but I don't find it: Lately after closing my browser I often get the message that Sandboxie cannot remove the folder, because the object is in use by an other program. With the advice to close any program that is blocking the access. I see man...

Links in e-mails and folder locations

Hi! I have 2 questions: When I hit a link in an e-mail, then instead of going to that website I get my default Google search page. Then I hit the link again, and I get the site. 1. If possible, how do I set Sandboxie to get to the destinations of the links in my e-mails directly? (If Sandboxie has a...

Congratulations, Tzuk!

Someone on the Online Armour forum helped me by giving the link to the thread here dealing with the trouble those new Windows updates caused for Sandboxie. I responded with a "Thank you. I am sure Tzuk will find a solution to it soon, if he hasn't already." And now I see I was not exaggerating. I ju...

Thank you Guest10, I followed your advice, and removed the useless clutter. Thank you too, bs1, I was wondering a bit if someone had put spyware on my laptop... I did do a system restore a few days ago when I had problems with my wirelesss connection. It made it worse, so I undid it. Then luc...

"Nothing to delete" but still "DefaultBox(2).

Is this "normal"?

When I click "Delete content" I get "There is nothing to delete".
But when I click "Explore content" I get "DefaultBox(2)" with various things in it.

I don't remember making a second Sandboxie box, nor seeing this before.

Just wondering... not being too  .

How many people has Tzuk protected from how many problems?

I cannot even imagine how many people Tzuk has saved from having disasters on their PC's. So much malware that thanks to him became harmless for so many. Preventing so many nerve wrecking heartaches. Two times I even had a cracker on my laptop. My green disk light was burning solid for no apparent r...
