A Win7 user curious about SBie dev ttowards Win10[SOLVED]
I was just curious how a Win7 user such as myself would benefit from Sandboxie v5.11 or for that matter even v5.10? With the exception of this specifically: Sandboxie binaries are now dual-signed (SHA1 & SHA256) to eliminate IE 11 and Windows 10 certificate warnings. in the v5.10 change log, I can s...

Re: Drop Rights option causing problems - please see inside
I assume a work-around would be to run each program in its own sandbox, this way I could use drop rights for one program but turn it off for the other. Is this a correct assumption? Even if you were not experiencing what you describe, you should separate your browsers in their own sandbox. Isolatio...

Sandboxie patch crack or meds [SOLVED]
I have been running into alot of SBie meds floating around out there. For example this site LINK REMOVED by Moderator
So my question is WTF? Do these meds work or just cosmetic? btw I support SBie 100% and wish these crack sites would be put down. Thank You

Re: ExperimentalProtection64Bit=y
Thanks for the quick reply. I will delete the line as you instructed. Will Sandboxie handle things any differently after I delete the line?Curt@invincea wrote:That setting has been in your config file for a long time. You can delete it.

ExperimentalProtection64Bit=y
Starting with version 4.02, Sandboxie is now fully compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows, and provides all protection. The Experimental Protection setting is no longer needed and was removed. So why does my Sandboxie.ini file have the line "ExperimentalProtection64Bit=y" under ...

I'd suggest to reinstall your messed up OS from scratch instead of hunting ghosts with Sandboxie. :P Reinstall an entire OS just because of one little install glitch. Thanx for the good laugh! I quit such nonsense back when I was running Windows for Workgroups. Anyways my screwed up OS, as you put ...

SOLVED
I am still experiencing this problem when trying to update Sandboxie. I did however find the culprit and a way to get passed this error. I found that it is exporer.exe that is causing the problem. I tried a few programs like "Unlocker" http://www.emptyloop.com/unlocker/ and while Unlocker was able t...

It seems to get stuck on LICENSE.TXT because it is the last one in a set of files If any file in the set failed, the installer asks to retry the entire set. Maybe your anti-virus is keeping the files or locked or something. You might try a tool like Process Explorer, there is a find command that wi...

I think this happens when you try to install, shortly after your computers starts up. The Sandboxie services are still trying to start, and cannot be deleted at that time. Thanx for the reply. This is not the case(for me atleast). This has happened to me after Ive been booted up for a long time. It...
