Re: Sanboxie and multi-core systems
I just did a quick check on my sandboxed firefox and it's using all cores. Do you know if the game has the same issue outside of sandboxie? I can't find anything in the settings or documentation about controlling core affinity- that's a bit outside of the scope of sandboxie's intended use imo. Mind...

Sanboxie and multi-core systems
Hi, a quick question: How does Sandboxie behaves in regards to moltiple cores/processors? I've noticed that when I run a programm (a game in my case), it runs with affinity to only one core, despite my system having 4 cores. Can I somehow run a sandboxed process which would use all 4 cores? How can ...

Can you tell me what kind of software is not gonna work in the sandbox? I mean, except for the obvious software that should be installed on the real...

Sandboxie and external runtimes
Hi everyone I've been looking over FAQs and help, but didn't find explicit answer to my question so I post it here: When sandboxed applications needs to access something like Java/.NET/VC++ runtimes, DirectX libraries or drivers, which are installed outside of sandbox, does it also copy all of those...

Re: Heavy games in sandbox
I use it for all my internet facing apps and haven't noticed any major performance issues in my games. With the Kingsisle titles I play with my child I have noticed a slight hiccup when loading new areas (a small delay, jerky lag as textures get loaded.) that doesn't exist outside of sandboxie but ...

Heavy games in sandbox
Hi,
Will a DirectX 9/11 games running in the sandbox experience any performance slowdowns? In terms of fps and load times. Does it need any additional resources to run sandboxed? I've tried some games, but wasn't able to detect any slowdown by the eye, just need to confirm.
