Re: Sandboxie doesn't kill a process
It would certainly be desirable to be able to kill a sandboxed instance of svchost.exe, but there are many instances that shouldn't be killed. Even without anything running sandboxed there are many instances in use, as shown by Process Explorer, so I wouldn't try killing the process by using taskkil...

Re: Auto Recovery Help
Immediate Recovery and Quick Recovery will both result in prompts to Recover the files. If you want to recover downloads to a specified folder, without any prompts, you need to give the download program Direct Access to its downloads folder. Sandbox Settings > Resource Access > File Access > Direct ...

Re: Please help.
The "%Local AppData%" entry should be defined in your Registry, and is used by multiple templates in Sandboxie. If you want to see if it's defined in your Registry, run the Registry Editor program (regedit.exe) and check the following keys: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion...

That might also happen if you are signed in to Chrome:

Re: Problem running firefox even though it's on the start/ru
Also, if you happen to have Firefox installed inside of the sandbox, it cannot run with that Restriction.
firefox.exe needs to be located outside of the sandbox, in order to use that Restriction setting.

I allow connections to IP 67.227.172.122 in both firewall tests. A site named LIQUIDWEB has that registered address. I wonder if they have anything to do with Sandboxieregistrations? Full Access to C: and D: for sandboxed programs ?
For all programs, or just specific programs?
Why use Sandboxie at all if you are going to give sandboxed programs unrestricted access to everything on C: and D:, including the"Windows" folder?

Re: disable the delete dialog box for local templates
Is there a way to disable this delete dialog box ? There's no configuration setting for that, as far as I know. You could Create a sandbox that you will never use and Apply the local templates to that sandbox. Maybe give it a name that will place it, alphabetically, at the bottom of the list of you...

Re: RoboForm 8 Eror
Is the Roboform folder at:
C:\Users\(username)\Documents\My RoboForm Data
which is where Sandboxie's template expects it to be ?
Have you blocked access to the Documents folder for sandboxed programs: Sandbox Settings > Resource Access > File Access > Read-Only Access (or) Write-Only Access ?

Re: Thunderbird folderlocation
What I would suggest is that you create a new empty file named "localstore.rtf" in the Thunderbird profile folder - as long as you are sure that you have the correct folder. It should contain files like prefs.js, extensions.ini, abook.mab, cert8.db After Sandboxie accepts the folder as a valid Thund...
