Re: DISABLE all SBIE messages

how to permanently hide SBIE2314? It seems to generate for every exe, and clicking hide each time just adds another entry in User section. Is there a way to make this universal across all exe's, without hiding "all" messages? eg: this is for all messages... SbieCtrl_HideMessage=* what I am after is ...

Re: Quick Recovery and Immediate Recovery not working correc

Is there a limit to how much can be recovered via Quick Recovery? I am running 5.06 64bit on W7 Home Premium... I downloaded 3 ISO files, totalling 12GB via Internet Download Manager. When they were completed, I closed the program to invoke Quick Recovery and only one was available to recover. Any ...

Re: SandBoxIE to harden SRP (software restriction policy)?

Is this project still working, or active at all? I read it works for Vista x64... any chance it can be done for W7HP x64? The game might've changed a lot since v5 is now out... By the way, thanks for recommending setting the DLLs to read only... I am using Block Process Access, so their DLLs are now...

bo.elam wrote:marzametal, I think you should try Sandboxies latest version (4.16). I dont have IE11 or ghostery so cant tell you if that will fix the issue you are having but you should upgrade.

Bo
If 4.15 is the latest stable, then I have it.

Re: IE will not start

I guess nobody here uses IE 11 and Ghostery...

I am running a registered version of Sandboxie 4.14 64bit.

Re: Ghostery

I am having the same issue with IE11, in a sandbox, and a non-sandboxing Ghostery (for IE it is installed onto HDD, rather than added as a TPL etc...)
Out of sandbox, Ghostery loads fine, inside... no dice!

Re: IE will not start

Ghostery works with IE11... 4.0.0 version installs and runs fine... however, I dunno' how to get it to load in a sandboxed IE11.

Anyone experienced this reaction?

Re: No internet in all browsers

Fresh installation of windows and sandboxie. I just did the same thing, fresh install of W7 Home Premium and Sandboxie... I can get internet access in sandbox for Firefox 35.0, but IE11 stalls on startup. I've tried tinkering with the protected modes, enhanced protected modes, p3p etc... diff combo...

Re: Firefox 29.0.1 "Open File" Issue

After some more testing, it turns out that this is caused by a clash with AppGuard. Adding Sandboxie to Power Apps in AG solves the issue, as does changing the Sandbox Include value in User Space tab to NO... both aren't recommended though... So far, only way I know to render the stalling of the dro...

Firefox 29.0.1 "Open File" Issue

This issue has to do with Firefox 29.0.1 running in Sandboxie 4.08 64bit on Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit... Outside of sandbox, there is no issue. However inside the sandbox, when I go to File and click on Open File, I am presented with this dialog box... openfile.jpg When I try to click on the Orga...

Re: Autoupdate programs

I would like to add a question to this thread... more specifically in relation to Firefox addons (since the thread revolves around updates/auto-updates) Would the same approach apply to addons/extensions being updated while Firefox is sandboxed? I noticed when I tried to update AdBlock Plus filter l...
