Re: File Access Exceptions
+1! I bought Sandboxie for privacy reasons in the first place! I was looking for a Windows alternative to Androids XPrivacy . And the only reason I still don't recommend Sandboxie to coworkers, friends and family although I want to is because of the difficulty to maintain a secure configuration!

Re: Hide all software information via WriteFilePath
See if this user's Configuration settings work for you: https://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=24012&p=126368&hilit=writefilepath#p126368 Interesting topic! This was the first feature I noticed missing and still is the most frustrating thing with Sandboxie. You can also try https:/...

Hide all software information via WriteFilePath
I want to hide all software information (version, configuration, etc.) via WriteFilePath from programs installed in a specific sandbox. I found the following two but they're only stating if a program is installed. This is good but I am looking for something additional like ProgramData or AppData ins...

Specify extension to always open in specific Sandbox
Is it possible to force an extension (e.g. *.mp4) to always open in a specific Sandbox? I have the licensed version of Sandboxie 5.20.

Re: Environment variables
Sandboxie uses its own Expandable Variables: https://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?ExpandableVariables https://www.sandboxie.com/index.php?ShellFolders (But you can use the Windows Environment Variables also.) %Downloads% was never defined but %{374DE290-123F-4565-9164-39C4925E467B}% should work. (Ch...

Can't pin to taskbar
I have a strange issue with pinning shortcuts to the taskbar. It's working with a few programs like Firefox but there are a lot of others where it's not possible although they're not installed inside a sandbox. They're sandboxed via "forced folders/programs".
Is there a way to fix this?
