Re: Opera, Sbie and posting screenshots or picture links.
Unfortunately success only lasted in that session :( Today I tried drag and drop which froze Opera. I tried drag and drop by navigating to the directory and then drag and drop it to screen, successful once. Now it's all tied up again. Same Sbie error and Opera not responding. Also it seems as though...

Re: Opera, Sbie and posting screenshots or picture links.
I was able to manage to attach (not drag and drop) 2 screenshots to a forum post with latest Opera stable.
It thought afew seconds about adding the second picture... but then did it without crashing![Very Happy :D](images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Re: Opera, Sbie and posting screenshots or picture links.
Hi Barb, Yes the problem occurs in new Sandbox. Problem exists with and without AV. Qwave enabled. No screen reader. Tried the COM access thing you linked to... made no difference so I removed it. So just to give a timeline... I am on a forum making a post I upload a screenshot file to my post from ...

Opera, Sbie and posting screenshots or picture links. [SOLVED - Beta 5.25.2]
I am at early stages of troubleshooting this. Win 10 1709.16299.309 Opera stable 51.0.2830.55 Emsisoft Anti-Malware Sbie 5.24 I take a screenshot and it is saved in Pictures. I want to either show the screenshot on a forum or post a link to it from Imgur. I have a forum open and I open a tab for Img...

Re: downloads not sandboxed
shmu, downloads are not supposed to show up in Sandboxie control. Bo Are you saying that I shouldn't see any downloads listed in Sbie Control/Show Window/Quick Recovery folders/ downloads? I do, they wait there until I close browser and then ask to be recovered. Sometimes in that folder I right-cli...

Wonder where the Sbie devs are?
I cannot re-activate my lifetime using offline on my old XP machine. Only 5 days left![Sad :(](images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)

Re: Unable to delete contents, object in use
If you do re-instate fast start to try and find the cause, the only thing I have a vague memory of is having notepad still open with stuff copy and pasted from a sandboxed browser.
But as you know, it could be millions of other things !!!

Re: Unable To Open .pdf file
Need more info.
What operating system?
What build of Sandboxie?
What software opens your pdf's?
Are you opening them in the browser?

Re: Unable to delete contents, object in use
Glad to hear what worked for me worked for you too
Perhaps in the ''pretend'' shutdown (Fast Start) the reg hive cannot be unloaded.
Turning off Fast Start can solve a lot of issues.

Re: Unable to delete contents, object in use
Hi captnamerica, Can I suggest you turn off fast startup, reboot and then follow the steps I mentioned above to delete the files and see if that works for you? http://www.howtogeek.com/243901/the-pros-and-cons-of-windows-10s-fast-startup-mode/ You can always turn fast startup back on afterwards if y...

Re: Unable to delete contents, object in use
I have now started to receive the exact same reghive error as you captnamerica. So what do we have in common on our machines? Windows 10 Pro 64bit 1607 (OS Build 14393.321) Sbie 5.14 SeaMonkey 2.40 Emsisoft Anti-Malware and VoodoooShield (both paid) I have Ccleaner but monitoring is off. The differe...

Re: Sandboxie GUI update
I'm sure the devs don't want to get into a pizza fight Syrinx, so I keep this brief :) The reason for me why the icon is so fundamental to the program is that there is no other taskbar icon I can think of where it is so blatantly obvious what state of use the program is in. A brief glance and you kn...
