ok thank you, but if i have an external hard drive opened with sandboxie and i allow direct access only to a clean empty folder of this hard drive, viruses that are in the rest of the hard drive(opened with sandboxie) can write in the folder that have direct access?

Ok, but if there are some viruses in the external hard drive they can't infect the desktop, right?Curt@invincea wrote:You should realize that by opening these folders, malware can now write to them as well.

HI, if you run an external hard drive in a sandboxie mode you can copy files from the hard drive to the desktop safely, but is it possible to copy files from the desktop to the external hard drive opened in a sandboxie? I tried with copy/paste but when i reconnect the hard drive the files are disapp...
