Aww nuts, silly VS 2010. I'll change the first post with a link for the new runtimes.

That's not how this problem should be handled. If there's a problem with the licensing or updating an old style license key to the new product key, then the OP should contact Tzuk directly via email.

Ok, updated for Sandboxie 3.51+, to sbiextra version 1.0.0.17. It should work for old versions of Sandboxie still, as I've added code to fall back to my old path discovery method. EDIT: Ok, while the fallback is there, the new API names won't, so this will actually only work with SB 3.51 beta+. Oh w...

Edit:

I was wrong, gotta rework something before this will work with 3.52.

Damn, ya know what? It doesn't work in an un-sandboxed FF either. Oops... didn't event think to test that before. Ugh, Synaptics drivers suck!!

Synaptics TouchPad Scrolling in Firefox 4

So the Synaptics template works fine for scrolling the Firefox 4 main windows. However scrolling does not work in the bookmarks menu or Options dialog. I've tried the below template to no avail, and the resource access monitor doesn't show anything interesting. Ideas? [Template_Local_FirefoxWinClass...

I only briefly looked over the InjectDll API changes, enough to know that the mechanism has changed. I'm pretty sure that sbiextra either won't be injected at all or will not hook anything in the current 3.51 betas.

I have not updated sbiextra with the new file structure or API changes for the 3.51 beta series. I will post in my thread when this is done (perhaps not until 3.52 is released). So currently, sbiextra probably doesn't do anything in SB 3.51+.

Most people here are rather protective of Sandboxie, and skeptical when people such as yourself make claims such as yours. Bottom line, provide us with some reproducible steps to replicate this 'escape', or no one in the world can do anything to help you.

The developer of Sandboxie does not promote using it to circumvent multiplayer game anti-cheat mechanisms, and neither do I. That being said, as I pointed out above there are a large number of ways a program can detect another instance of itself is running. My DLL only blocks a few of those methods ...

1) Are you running both copies of MeGui in the same sandbox? If so, that is not blocked by my DLL. Access within the same sandbox is allowed. 2) MeGui could be using any of a large number of methods to detect another instance of itself, many of which are not blocked by my DLL. Without knowing how Me...

If you right-click on an MSI file, what action is in bold? For me it is 'Install', regardless of whether Sandboxie is integrated into the shell. If this is not the case on your computer (which I assume it isn't) then it's a problem with Win2k and you are not likely to find a resolution, as Sandboxie...

Yes, I see what you're getting at. From what I can tell, my Google folder in AppData\Local and the Temp directory there are fully open to Admins and my user account.
