-final- found out that the .cmd file, at startup, did not delete the folder structure. it is a bit of a workaround, but the below works fine with me now 1. create a batchfile, e.g. DeleteMySandBox.bat 2. contents: just one line: DeleteSandBox.cmd contents of the .cmd file: Powershell.exe cmd /c "RMD...

Not entirely solved SnagIt consists of -SnagIt: F:\SnagIt v11\Snagit32.exe -SnagItEditor: F:\SnagIt v11\SnagitEditor.exe After capturing (SnagIt32.exe), the editor is opened. The file is saved in the editor and immediately recovered. Sofar everything okay. Normally, I can drag+drop the file from the...

Am I missing something? Well, the Target line looks fine. The question is: did it help to run the program using DefaultBox? It has been a long time and I did not spend much attention this. Today I gave it a try and yes, SnagIt is working sandboxed. The URL shows up alright (in the sanboxed editor) ...

Oh, by the way, fwiw: I have discovered that some times long foldernames / trees mostly being created when browsing, e.g. G:\Sandbox\UserName\DefaultBox\user\current\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\yht3c5v6.default\Cache\D\B5 are not deleted, even when using /s /q. (access denied or something...

Firefox 20: Quick launch error after install => reboot

I do not have a problem, but just want to advise that after installing FF update (to version 20) and launching it from the quick launch taskbar (sandboxed), I got an error. Something with 'module not found'. There were no issues launching FF UNsandboxed. Rebooted pc, launching from quick launch was ...

Will v.4.01 under Windows 8 accept URL's as outlined below, i.e. once a capture is made of a Sandboxed browser, the URL is passed on to Snagit.
That is not the case right now.

I've had this twice. Are you running Appguard too ? I forgot to turn Appguard to install, while updating firefox Anyhow all is resolved with a reboot :D Thanks. Indeed a reboot solved the issue. This was the first time I had this error though and did not expect it to be solved with just a reboot. a...

Can I savely stop Nalpeiron Licensing System?

I came accross a "Nalpeiron Licensing System" in msconfig / services. Tried to find out where this came from. Seems to have something to do with name: nlsX86cc exec.: nlssrv32.exe located: C:\Windows\SysWOW64 description: This service enables products that use the Nalpeiron Licensing System I found ...

Is there no way to make Sandboxie slightly more flexible and allow some specific tools to have access to the web? I guess chances on malware on using some specific tools are very, very limited and even then, it is users option. Tools that are used for capturing purposes: OneNote, SnagIt. In fact, wh...

A more extensive installation routine?

Would it not be an idea to make the setup/install routine a little bit more extensive? With this I mean that instead of setting the program configuration afterwards, a number of the settings are done during setup. For instance - on which drive to store the \Sandbox folder (currently defaulted at C:\...
