Re: Sandboxie will NOT work with Firefox and Windows 8.1 64b
Okay, after starting in safe mode, then enabling/disabling each addon individually, I can narrow it down to Speed Dial and Autopager. Running either/both of these two addons gives an instant freeze, or if not, a freeze within thirty seconds, when visiting YouTube, for example. I'm currently Sandboxe...

Re: Sandboxie will NOT work with Firefox and Windows 8.1 64b
Thanks Bo - I will give that a go. The sad thing is that I've been using Sandboxie for years without any problems and since I did the Windows 8.1 update not one version has worked with Firefox. I'd build my whole setup around Sandboxie, so now I do feel lost without it, and less secure. My partner i...

Re: Sandboxie will NOT work with Firefox and Windows 8.1 64b
Windows 8.1 64bit working fine here with Fx - only one addon, AdBlock Plus. Videos were freezing up here until I added OpenWinClass=# to the settings. Thanks JoeHood, but I've tried this and it didn't work - Firefox is still freezing. Sandboxie works fine with Win 8.1 and Firefox. But it's NOT work...

Sandboxie will NOT work with Firefox and Windows 8.1 64bit
I've been trying to use Firefox with Sandboxie since Windows 8.1 64bit. It worked flawlessly until I updated to 8.1. Now, I just cannot use it with Firefox. I get constant freezes every time I open Firefox, even just inside the Default Sandbox with no other options configured. I've disabled all addo...

Re: 4.09 Beta Available (Latest Version 4.09.1)
I'm still getting the Firefox freeze here. Haven't been able to use any version of Sandboxie with Firefox since upgrading from Windows 8 to 8.1 64bit. It was working flawlessly until then. Chrome and IE work fine, by the way.

[.01] Avast and Thunderbird
I have a problem with Sandboxie 4.01.02. Installed Avast 8.0.1482 which now checks mail on SSL connections. However, this would not work with Thunderbird running inside Sandboxie, but fine when outside. Is there a setting that I need to adjust to allow Avast and Thunderbird to work okay? Running on ...

[.05] Error message with Outpost Pro
I'm using version 4.01 on Windows 8 32-Bit and only having this error since installing Outpost Pro ver. 8.0 (4164.639.1856) when opening Firefox and Internet Explorer , both in their own sandboxes (not getting the message with my Thunderbird sandbox): SBIE2303 Could not hook ChangeServiceConfigA (SE...

dreamforger. I actually used KeyScrambler to reproduce the freeze problem that I resolved (or tried to resolve) in version 3.36.04. Therefore I am surprised to hear that it is your KeyScrambler, of all things, that is still causing trouble. Are you sure you downloaded 3.36.04 ? My apologies tzuk - ...

tzuk - I think I found the problem. I did what you suggested and everything worked fine. I restarted my normal profile and disabled a few addons. The one that was causing the problems was Keyscrambler (free version). Disabled it, restarted Firefox, downloaded and SandboxIE asked if I wanted to recov...

And did it fix your problem? No, sorry. Using version 3.36.04 The problem with Firefox freezing when trying to download seems related to the directories listed in Quick Recovery. If you download to a directory not listed in Quick Recovery, there isn't a problem. Hope this helps toward a solution. I...

Firefox crashing problem
This problem I have never had with any previous version of SandboxIE. Whenever I download anything using Firefox and/or IE, the browser locks and freezes. I have to restart from task manager. I don't think it's the actual downloading of the file, but the virus scanning (not set up by me - it just sc...
