Re: Using a sandbox on a network share
Hi Barb, What if i want the saved location to be sandboxed? If i openfilepath or openpipepath to the for example 'My Documents' then the location is directly accessible and defeats the purpose of a sandbox. My goal is to have my sandbox functionality the exact same whether the sandbox location is st...

Re: Using a sandbox on a network share
I had less luck trying to use the root folder directly to the network share. Using the direct approach without symlinks and trying to open as much access as possible i have done: FileRootPath=\\192.168.168.99\Sandboxie\NetworkSandbox\%SANDBOX% OpenPipePath=\Device\Mup\192.168.168.99\Sandboxie\Networ...

Re: 5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.01.7)

UAC is disabled (Also tried it on but I always tend to keep it disabled) Malwarebytes is installed although the real-time protection module is disabled otherwise I get errors E5 Windows defender is also running. I havnt twe...

Re: 5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.01.7)
A fair bit of success on my part. Looks like sandboxie isn't playing nicely with Comodo. (This includes with comodo fully disabled but still installed) Once comodo was uninstalled: Running application normally still produces the invalid privileges errors below. I'm not sure why sandboxie cant/dosnt ...

Re: 5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.01.6)
Although its not great. If I roll back any windows updates and block the sandboxie messages I mentioned before then some applications do somewhat work for more than 10 seconds. Still a long way to go to be usable however on windows 10 :( edit: I should also mention that the sandboxie control app can...

Re: 5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.01.6)
Doing some more testing. For me nothing remotely works on anything greater than Beta 3. Using beta 3 I can get some applications to run for short periods of time although I get: - Failed to start program: [44/ 740] - RpcSs (740) - RpcSs (-1) If I run the application as administrator I get: - DcomLau...

Re: 5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.01.6)
No luck for me with the newer version 5.01.6.
The RPC and DCOM service still constantly fail. I also tried to a full reinstall off the C drive to see if anything would change and it didn't
Windows 10 Pro x64 (Fresh Install not upgraded)

Re: 5.01 Beta Available (latest version 5.01.5)
I previously upgraded to version 5.01.3 because I couldn't run anything with the v4 version. Most of my programs were launching except any java based programs (swing based I believe they are). I just did a restart and now nothing works in the sandbox. I did download the latest 5.01.5 version however...
