I would say that your main problem, now, is related to having %Personal% set up as a Recovery Folder and also having your Firefox and Thunderbird profiles located in sub-folders underneath %Personal%. Once you designate %Personal% as a Recovery Folder, all sub-folders underneath that are also treate...

However, taken by desperation I deleted RecoverFolder=%Personal% and this seems to have worked, went to the incriminated site and nothing untoward happened - but it's now almost 2 am and I can't remember if I am likely to run into trouble with this, can you advise? I don't see why it would have bee...

OK, Immediate Recovery is apparently using the equivalent of my "Application Data" folder - your DATI APPLICAZIONI folder. Which leads me to something I didn't notice before. OpenFilePath=firefox.exe,%Personal% \ DATI APPLICAZIONI\Firefox - MY PROFILE\ OpenFilePath=thunderbird.exe,%Personal% \ DATI ...

I'm fast running out of ideas. I think that what I was looking for is hidden to the left of the first characters, and represented as the three dots: "...\www". I don't see any reason for Immediate Recovery to pop-up unless these files are being written to one of your Recovery Folders, but can't tell...

Did you install it within a sandbox? Sorry to disappoint you again. This time I installed beta 3 outside of the sandbox. I ran it sandboxed in 2 different sandboxes, and had no problems. One sandbox had nothing in Sandboxie's configuration for Firefox, at all. No extra add-ons, no themes, just as b...

I assume you gave the profile a name, if you created one for yourself, and if it's not the "default" profile. (You did say there were two profiles) Look for it with Windows Explorer. It's probably in the default location: C:\Documents and Settings\(your logon)\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profil...

Maybe this will help you: First, if you haven't already done it, use Sandboxie's Configure | Shell Integration | Add Shortcut Icons button, to make a shortcut that will run Fx in the sandbox of your choice. Firefox allows you to specify the path to the profile that you want to use, by adding it to t...

Sandbox Settings | Resource Access | File Access | Direct Access Click the drop-down arrow in the "The list above applies to" box Select firefox.exe See the settings that apply to firefox.exe, in the box above. Actually, I didn't think enough about this line: OpenFilePath=C:\Programmi\- INTERNET\Fir...

I tried SnagIt (on XP), and I guess I'm just being my usual dense self because I couldn't even get the scrolling capture feature to work right with my unsandboxed browser (Firefox), let alone work with a sandboxed browser. Finally, I just gave up. I'm assuming you paid for SnagIt, but if you ever wa...

It has the usual options of same Folder, Any Folder, Add Folder OK, that's the Quick Recovery window. That window will show the name of the unsandboxed folder where a file is to be stored, and I assume that the program you were using is trying to save files to a Recovery Folder, since Immediate Rec...

This is best done by someone who is experienced with Sandboxie's configuration settings, so be forewarned: Sandboxie should first be installed onto each computer, never by copying folders from one computer to the other. Sandboxie's configuration file is what determines what sandboxes are created, wh...

Re: Immediate Recovery problem (?)
I have been getting continuous pop-ups of the Immediate Recovery-Default Box with tens and tens the following file types: .sxx .sol and it was so overwhelming I had to disable Immediate Recovery I seldom use Immediate Recovery, but if I remember correctly,at the top of the window it shows what unsa...

Sandboxie v 3.23.04 Firefox Beta 3 I find it very hard to believe I'm the only one experiencing this issue. I don't have an answer to your problem. I created a Firefox3 sandbox, using just Sandboxie's default settings, and then installed Firefox beta3 inside of the sandbox - as opposed to your inst...

I've wondered before, if there is some way to manually install a driver without a reboot. It would be useful when using Returnil's session lock, while testing a program, if a reboot would normally be required in order to install a driver. Of course, a reboot would clear away anything installed durin...
