Hi Ronen,

No problem at all - I realise your're a very busy person.

Let's hope you see it, too, Ronen. By the way, I decided to see if I could clear the 1.5 minute delay in loading I.E. by inserting the line: OpenPipePath=\Device\NamedPipe\ntsvcs into Sandboxie.ini (at the end of the [Default Box] section) - just as I had seen it clear the 1.5 minute delay in loadin...

Interesting thing: tonight I moved my Favorites folder to a different location to check something for another Sandboxie user and then moved it back to its original location, and, perhaps more to the point, I went to Windows Critical Updates and got the May updates (KBs 931768, 922770 and 917283) and...

I'm having similar symptoms but with Outlook Express (see my postings under Laptop Locking Up). I'm also on Windows 2000 SP4 fully up to date with critical updates. SBIE1242 Cannot remove Registry Hive

Hi Ronen, It's the Comodo Verification Engine that's causing the problem. This program verifies a website as genuine. I've stopped it loading and there's no problem. Strangely though it still works because it still verifies sites even though the icon no longer appears in the systems tray. I had noti...

SBIE1242 Cannot remove Registry Hive

I've delved further. Using the program Startup Control Panel, I stopped the firewall, antivirus, antispyware etc from loading so that all I had in my systems tray was the Unplug or Eject Hardware icon and the Volume Control icon. Under these conditions everything worked perfectly: no error message a...

SBIE1242 Cannot remove Registry Hive

Hi Ronen, Under normal circumstances there is indeed such a registry entry: Sandbox_Web Browser_DefaultBox containing 2 sub-keys (if that's the correct term): Machine and User. Now when I switch accounts either from the User to the Admin account or vice versa and look in the Registry, I see the Sand...
